This is by far the best overall nontechnical review of the shotgun 650 that I have seen, and I've watched many. The commentary gets down to the heart of what it is we are really looking for in a motorcycle when it comes to purchasing one. Inserting the video launch of the Shotgun by Royal Enfield was a nice touch that added to the overall professionalism of this video. Your closing comment, followed by the edgy soundtrack, panned out drone rideaway, final factory slides of each color with pricing followed by other great clips of riders on various shotguns was incredible. I've been researching and thinking about this bike for a long time and this video really helped me make my decision for the shotgun.
I own a RE GT, changed a few things and put 13.500 km on it. I have now a shotgun. Love this bike. Looks amazing, drives very well, made solid, sounds well… Perfect. I just will not change it it, except a cowl for the headlight, perhaps bar end mirrors and the nice special seats. Made for custom??? It s made perfect by designers and … it s perfect. As is my GT. Could not sell that one. After 3 years, I still am in love😊 RE are amazing. Mr. S. Lal is a man with a vision😊 About traction control, other gismos… 2 hands, I have. Since the 80’s they operated the clutch, brakes, gashandle… It is the biker that rides the machine and not the other way round😂
Third time watching this video. It's by far the best video out there on capturing the heart and soul of this bike. The format of this video should be the template for your future videos. See my previous comments.
Thank you for making and posting a quality video… well done! I appreciate your insights. I’m 55 years old and just received my motorcycle endorsement in the US and looking for my first bike… this is at the top of my list.
Finally someone just describing the bike instead of selling it. I have a classic 500 and want a bit more from a bike. Recently stenosis is the lower spine has become a concern. My spring seat really has been a god send. I like the interceptor for its lighter weight and lower cost but worried about my back. I wander if fitting spring set to the shotgun or upcoming classic seat. I also want tubeless tires and the shotgun style seems more visually appealing with tubeless rims. Not a.big fan of the instrument setup. Dont think I would use tripper all that much
@@silverback3926 I think both are equally good, I don't think one is better than the other. They are slightly different, but you adjust, so any difference is negligible.
I think the shotgun is the more stunning. Bear doesn’t have a unique look plus if you were to use it as a scrambler the suspension will apparently need changing straight away. I actually think the Bear looks a little like the Honda monkey upsized. Which isn’t a bad thing.

@@RetroMan1960 Very kind of you to say, thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great video. You are bringing motor riding back to the basics .💪

I appreciate your kind words. Enjoy the process of finding your first bike and many years of safe riding.
You may check out the Super Meteor 650; basically the same platform but with a bit more cruiser-y geometry...

Just saw you have ridden the interceptor as well. How did you like it for comfort? Does the comfort compare to shotgun?

ABS and traction control is good…they can keep everything else, I’m not interested.
wait for bear650
