  • This ain't your Disney comics. There are really interesting ways that the comics from 1998, the Dark Horse comics that became the Republic series, had a different view of the lives of Jedi than what came to be developed over the following decades.

Interesting. In one of the novels, Mave Windu is stated to ethnically be a Korun from the planet Harun Kal - but to have been taken to Coruscant when he wss just a baby, so he has no.memories of it and no connection to it.

In shatterpoint I know it talks about him going back to Harun Kal to learn how to do the akk dog bond and so does meet his people and even learns the language at some point. So he definitely, EU wise, has a connection to it while he's being trained. But it's just one that's way smaller than his connection to either jedi or republic.

Very interesting, although what we have now better serves to show the flaws of the Jedi order.
