@@farenhaid13421 Pretty sure he's talking about the part where Shen mentioned feeling a brief pang of remorse over his actions. Compared to individuals like Palpatine, who likely never felt an ounce of remorse in his life over the vile crap he's done, and Sauron, who's essentially the closest thing to evil incarnate in his universe (below Melkor that is), yeah I'd count Shen as being not 100% evil.

We went from "not so evil" to "utterly evil" in 2 vids. That shows how much evil shen brings to the table. In that sense, he's the only one who can really afford to waste time with side activities, because his presence and attitude alone make for evil, plus, he wiped out (most) of the entire panda species in his universe. Mass genocide of an entire village, save for po and po's dad. So, pretty fucking evil.
Actually Shen missed more than just Po and Po’s dad, he missed enough pandas to the point where they could reproduce and regrow the population. Plus Shen actually does have a few redeeming qualities
He does care for the Soothsayer deep down as he actually lets her go when her usefulness expires when it would have been no skin off his nose to kill her.
His insecurities about believing that his parents hated him are played for mild sympathy.
In the recent film, while Shen doesn’t respect Po like the others do, he does voluntarily return to the Spirit Realm without a fight which means that he had mellowed out a little at that point in time.
Also as bad as Shen is, he’s not as bad as Voldemort, Sauron, Ozai, and Palpatine.
Palpatine orchestrated a galaxy wide conflict in order to rise to power then wiped out most of the Jedi Order with Order 66, and in his early life he murdered his entire family. To name a few things.
Sauron literally hung someone’s corpse as a war banner, caused the drowning of a civilization, promoted human sacrifices to the devil himself, condemned 9 people to become his slaves with no free will (the Ringwraiths). And that’s not even everything.
Ozai abused his own son even leaving a permanent scar on his face, and his ultimate plan is to burn the entire world down and remake it in his image.
As for Voldemort, he waged 2 wars across Britain which killed countless people, he murdered several people to create his horcruxes, he is one of the 2 people to leave a lasting scar on Harry other than Dolores Umbridge, and has committed countless other evil deeds.
Long story short you overestimate Shen’s evilness compared to a large number of these guys
@@chadpeterson5698fair enough. Still, I like this portrayal of him. He's actually menacing here, and he's a smug git. A funny, yet serious villain in my opinion. Plus, who doesn't like peacocks? And he's not wrong about style, either, he OWNS that white and red look.

@@suryasingh9738 they both fall in the category of true dark lords: Goblin is similar to Palpatine(causes massive amounts of damage in one persona, promises to solve the problem in the other persona), while Doom is Sauron meets Shen.

Imagine if Ganondorf was the next dark lord to join the council of villains. I imagine that Palpatine would like him due to how straight to buisness he is. Like the other day I was rewatching the vids with my gf and when me and her talked as to what villain from Kung Fu Panda might show up she said Kai I was like yeah no Kai was a warlord yes he took the chi of many masters true he wanted to use his powers for evil yes but ya know Lord Shen doesnt have any powers he relies mostly on his weapons and dont forget he nearly wiped out the panda race and committed genocide on them so yeah Palps Vader Sauron Ozai and Garmadon would just love him there. Now all we need is the Joker from batman the brave and the bold and ofc we need Shredder from 2012 (a suggestion in case you watched Merlin the live action series for the council of wise maybe add his mentor Gaius and for the council of evil add Morgana)
I'd rather see DCAU Joker and DCAU Lex. From Marvel I would like Dr. Doom and either Green Goblin or Magneto.
The Joker in general is a bit too chaotic to be part of a team, though I would love to see him causing even more mayhem just to annoy the hell out of the others, particulary Sidious, and it could be funny to see the others's reaction to Emperor Joker. Luthor on the other hand could be a good addition with his calculating mind.

Magneto I'm kind of split, I see him more as an anti-villain even moreso than Vader (I'd argue Vader is worse and has done much, much worse and is much more brutal and ruthless), a Dark Lord (at least in my opinion) is like those in the videos, truly evil and with no desire than his own interest and not for the sake of others like Magneto. Green Goblin is like the Joker, a bit too chaotic to properly function in a group and is more of a classic villain.
But that's just my opinion.
