This video showed up alongside a way more recent one from your Country Craft Corner that I was watching, Arlynn. I hope you don't mind that I watched it. I hadn't seen this or any video of yours like it before. Christin is absolutely amazing, and although I had tears, I feel like I know her just a tiny bit more now. Sending love to all of you. ❤❤❤❤
Hi, Arlynn! I, too, remember watching this special video live. I can't believe it's been five years! You and Christen had a wonderful relationship, and I know she's right there with you. I know you'll always treasure this video. Thank you for sharing it with us once again. When this first aired, I was working at our middle school with iep driver students. I just retired this past June (after 21 years) and 69 years old! Anyway, I would have been proud to work with her. She would have been a wonderful middle school teacher (even though she said no to middle school!) I definitely understand her love of teaching! Take care and we'll see you when we see you❤❤❤ (Cindy from South Jersey).
Oh, Arlynn…I remember watching this when you made it. But to watch today, how special!!!🙏 You two had such a sweet, sweet relationship!! I enjoyed this so very much! Christin is such an amazing AMAZING daughter!!! Rest in peace sweet Christin🙏🤍🙏
Kristen’s life is a profound reminder of how important it is to make a difference in peoples lives and the importance of family. God blessed you with many years. He obviously wanted her with Him and the rest of your family in Heaven.
Arlynn, she was not only beautiful but so talented and smart. What a great relationship you had. I had not seen it before. My heart just morns for you. May God give you peace and you feel his love thru this time.
I remember this day I watched it live. Christin was so well spoken and obviously loved her family very much!! I am truly sorry and send so much love and prayers for the entire family that loved this beautiful young lady so much!! 💙💝💓💓🙏
Hi Arlynn, Aww how wonderful of a memory to hear Christin talk about how kind u r to others and how that inspired her to be like that cause u made others feel better after they had a conversation with u, what a valuable lesson and humbling heart u instilled to her and this ole world and her school and kids r definitely missing what a wonderful treasure she was to them and would have been to other children coming up in the new school years, my heart breaks for you and Chris I just couldn’t help but shed tears while watching this video again and my husband like why r u crying and I’m like telling him how my heart is broken for u all but I know Christin is with our Lord and Savior and what better place is there to be. Big hugs R to u, Chris and Candace. Xoxo ❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏
This was so nice to listen to Christin. She s so honest and real. Bless her heart. You can hear her voice anytime. Hugs and thanks for once again sharing your heart. ❤
Sweet! Totally enjoyed this "Mother/Daughter Q&A". Christin is very intelligent and such a doll. You and hubby did an exceptional job as parents. TFS. Smile!
I thoroughly enjoy learning about both of you. Your answers are to the point with humor. You both show total love and admiration for each other. It is wonderful to listen too. Thank you both for answering my question. It was great. Sending you both so much love and blessings.
Hey there Bonnie...Aww, thank you so very much girl...and it was our pleasure to answer your question...for sure!! We send you love and blessings right back!!
Arlynn & Kristin, so enjoyed listening to you two. Can feel the love you both have for each other. We have three daughters each one very different but love them to pieces also a son who I love to pieces. God is so good. Blessings and hugs to you both.
Hi Arylnn . Haven’t been feeling good lately, but that has not kept me from seeing your videos even if it‘s day or two later . Love the mother , daughter as much as your other videos. Love you all ♥️
Hi Arlynn &Christin, great Q&A enjoyed your interactions .The questions were great! We need more kind, caring people like you both in this world! !!!Thanks for sharing.Love you
Thank you Arlynn and Christin, really appreciated the Q&A session. Thanks so much for answering my question Christin. I am so envious of you ladies I have always wanted a daughter I have two sons. Which I enjoy every moment with them I just wish God would have blessed me with a daughter. I will continue to love my daughter in laws like they are mine. The bond you two have is amazing you can tell by observing the interactions between the two of you. Again, thank you both so much I hope you all have a blessed beautiful weekend ❤️ Phyllis 🌸🌺🦋
Thank you so much for watching Phyllis, we had a lovely time doing this, so much fun. :) Awww, yes, you're right, you have 2 beautiful daughters in law to spoil. :) We do have a pretty special bond over here...well you know, there is no love like one between a mom and her child. I hope you have a great evening sweet lady friend!!
Hi Arlynn! I have a few questions for both you and Christin (1) what is one thing you've always loved about yourself (2) what has been the happiest moment of your life so far (3) have you ever kept a really big secret and (4) what would you do if you won a million dollars. Can't wait for your next "Ask Arlynn & Christin".🐒
Oh Arlynn I'm the same way when it comes to decorating the Christmas tree I don't mean to be either but I see it in my mind's eye of how I want it and when I get help it don't turn out that way and it drives me crazy until I fix it.
Oh I must say your Christin is as amazing as her Mom. She is very humble and caring. I sure wish my childrens teachers were as awesome as she is. The world needs more teachers like her. Her students and her parents are very lucky. Thanks for sharing time with us. Hugs and Muwah my friend and her daughter.LOL
Got busy outside yesterday and forgot about your live with Christin, but I finally got to watch it last night. Love them! Wanted to let you know I made your strawberry fluff this morning and I let the jello set up as you suggested on Friday. Oh my gosh it turned out beautifully!! The little chunks of jello look like rubies! I'm pretty sure this is going to be a regular for our family get togethers and holidays. My 4yr old grandson got a sneak taste and LOVED it!! (He doesn't like to try anything new.) Thank you for sharing your recipe, you're the the best!!! Enjoy your day!! Hugs!!
Wonderful and memorable video! Thank you! Christin, you sound like an awesome teacher. You're students are very lucky. I am now trying to find out more about my family history and it is almost too late. My parent's, grand parents and most of my aunts and uncles are gone. Those who are left, have memory issues at their age. I know what you mean about get information out there. Hopefully, my "kid's" will have some family history left for them. Hugs to both of you!
Morning Arlynn! Great Q and A thank Christian for answer all the questions ! It's fun just hearing the 2 of you interact ! Looking foward to your home tour tomorrow also if you do a video on that chicken and yellow rice recipe I think you said . Have a nice Sunday!
Hey there Carrie!! Aww, thank you so much girlfriend! We had a blast doing this!! And if and when I make my chicken and yellow rice again, I'll definitely record for y'all. :) I hope you're having a nice Sunday as well. :)
hi arlynn what a great video lovely Q&A nice that you do this together find out a little more about you both your kindness you have shared with your daughter thanks for sharing
Great video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Felt like I was sitting & chatting with family and friends. Your family is so down to earth and natural it is so refreshing to see! I was LOL about the on-the-go chicken meal made with the canned soup and rice. I used to make the SAME thing when my kids were young and it was an action packed night for us!! I got lucky though, and my kids liked that dish. Thanks again for sharing a wonderful video!
I’m enjoying your videos so much! I have them on in the background as I work and you are true blue Arlynn! (As blue as your new decor series!💙) 🤗 Love seeing and hearing about the beautiful relationships you have with your daughters!!! (I have one son, but praying that there is a granddaughter in my future!!)
Another great Q&A. Isn't it wonderful to be able to sit down and learn new things about someone you love. I would have loved to do this with my mother. My son wouldn't be too into it now but I am trying to write down my memories of him, my growing up, etc for him to enjoy someday. I also had a dog named Keesha. She died in 2008 and it broke my heart. My mother had a Himilayan cat that was a real snob. She didn't like anyone but mom. When she had a knee replacement i looked after her cat. I rarely saw it and never once got to pet it. I made mom a book box and mini album that I called "While You Were Away" that told the story of what the cat did, how it treated me, etc. when she was away. She loved it. (Of course I kept it after she passed.)I think that there is a picture of it and my journal jar on my blog. I'll have to look as I haven't added anything since mom's stroke in 2012.
Hi Diane! Thank you so, so much sweet lady!! Awww, that Himilayan cat of your Mom's...hahaha...some of them could definitely be a bit snobby in this house too. ;) What a sweet thing for you to make for your Mom... a "While You Were Away" book, that is awesome! You have wonderful, wonderful ideas (you actually remind me of Christin and some of the things that she does for me...very, very special!).
Two amazing, strong, smart and compassionate women. I so appreciate that you both cherish your close relationship, while acknowledging that relationships take work and unconditional love and acceptance. I just love these sessions, so life affirming and uplifting. (PS I got through this one on a “two tissue” rating, just 💗loved it though!)😊
Awww Mae Mae, you are so sweet gf...thank you so very much for those lovely words!! And as I say all of the time, if folks come on UA-cam and put on airs and try to be something that they're not, y'all (subbies) will see right through them...so I/we always try to be just as we are in person you know? :) I so appreciate everything single thing that you said!! And a "two tissue" rating, uh oh...as you probably noticed I teared up a couple of times myself (especially when Christin was talking about her Dad...wow!!). Have a good one.
Thanks for answering my questions, Christin. You and I have a lot in common. My favorite grade to teach was fifth, but the most rewarding was kindergarten. I, too, used fabric on my bulletin boards...in the summer I would wash them, iron them if needed and put them up again. Loved it! I wish we could have a great conversation someday, even though I am older than your mom and have been retired for 4 years, I still love teaching and dream about it many nights . Oh...and panic attacks...I could be a poster child. They are awful! Enough said. I also considered getting my masters in guidance, but decided I would rather be in the classroom....and have been told many times that I would have made a great principal...there again, I chose the classroom. I changed teaching assignments every several years to keep the excitement and lessons fresh . I did not teach first or second ( student taught though in second) but k, 3-6 in 36 years was a privilege and a challenge. I did not like changing buildings, however. Christin, you, as I know you know, are very blessed to have the parents that you have. They have certainly made you the lovely, talented, and smart woman you are today. Your mom is one of the finest women I have “met” and I am proud to call her my friend. Have a wonderful end of the year...I know it is always busy and emotional. Arlynn.....I am looking forward to Monday’s video. Have a great weekend! And, by the way, the tests were ok. I thank God for that🙏🏻. Love you...Cindi
Cindi, you brought me to tears, thank you so much for all of those beautiful and encouraging words for Christins!!! (AND thank you so much for telling me about those tests...that is awesome and I'm shedding more tears of joy for you!!! So relieved!!). Love you too sweet lady friend!
Cindi, I love that your favorite grade was 5th! They are a challenge in so many different ways. I collaborate with a 5th grade teacher to do reading buddies. I also taught 5th my first year of teaching. I’m glad to hear I’m not alone in the spectrum of staying in the classroom even if others are pushing you to do something else. Thanks for enjoying my mom’s content and trust me I get the feeling that you’ve “met”! With appreciation, Christin
Hi Arlynn and Christin! Very interesting chatwith between you two. I couldn't help but laugh at the part about making the bed. My house is/was kept the up pretty well, even when I was working full time and had kids. My daughter is like Christin. She would just throw a blanket on the bed if she didn't want to remake the bed. Never in my life have I done that. Lol! So different. Have a great week ladies! ((Hugs))
Arlynn's Country Craft Corner Sometimes I think they give so much of themselves to their job, mundane things just aren't important. Or, its some sort of rebellion for having mothers that are perfectionists. Lol
Love love love this..........you two are awesome and it's so enjoyable to listen to the answers and the laughter and banter! One of my favorite things in the world is to have talk time with my three adult children .......one on one or all of us together or whatever. We laugh and giggle and kid one another til we are rolling on the floor almost. Love those adult children ........they are priceless. Each their own person but what a blessing to see them at this age doing well and being positive influences in society and raising their children the same way. Love of a mother for their child/children is so overwhelming not words to explain it really. I love that you girls get to visit and do the Q and A and person both girls will do one together with you at some point! Thank you for sharing all you do and even the tears if they occur as that speaks so much to the love and deep emotions that run so true in we as women. God bless and have a wonderful rest of your weekend.
Hi sweet Mary Lou...I relate to your words on so many levels girl!!! Thank you for your wisdom and insight every time!! God Bless you and yours lady friend!!
When my mother passed in 2001, I became the family “matriarch” - yikes!! ... I’m an only child too, so there’s literally no one for me to ask anything. Double yikes! I can hunt and peck pretty much with the speed of greased lightning, but i can’t type “properly” worth a flippydiddle. It’s so lovely to see a mother and daughter who have such a loving and respectful relationship.
Awww, Del, I didn't know that you too are an only child...whew, not the ideal situation when you are the only one left huh. I can relate, I dread the day when my dad passes...of course because he is awesome and I love him so, so much, but, it is also means that yep, I then become the "matriarch"...not sure I will embrace that position with grace. ON another note!! I LOVE the word "flippydiddle"...that is a FUN one gf!!! Thank you so much for you lovely words sweet lady friend of mine!!! I hope you have a great Sunday!!
Hey Arlynn...just wanted to thank you & Christin for answering my music question. We so enjoyed ya'lls Q&A once again and look forward to more in the future. Lot's of love from New Mexico~ Tami😎
Hi Arylnn just getting to watch you and daughter questions I hope I can make it I been sick for a couple a days now, starting to feel a little bit better, but not quite, I made the strawberry fluff left the jello in for almost 45 minutes my family said it was very good
Hey Arlynn & Christin!!! This was another fantastic Q & A!!!! Christin...you sound like a real down to earth person like your mom 😊. Would love to see you on camera. We’ve seen your picture and you’re a beautiful lady 😊. But if you really don’t want to, it’s totally fine. I’m not a camera person either, I don’t even like having my picture taken, LOL. This was fun, and thanks again for doing it. Tell Candace she has to get in on one 😁. Love you guys, and hope you’re all having a nice evening!! 😘😘

Hi Lindsey, it was truly our pleasure. :) Thank you so much for your lovely words!
Well, Christin may not show her face on camera but her beautiful heart shows through! What a lovely girl you have Arlynn💝
Awww, thank you so much Brenda...I couldn't honestly agree with you more. :)
Hey there Addie!! :) I will save your questions to a Sticky (I promise..haha), and we'll tackle them the next time. :)
Hugs!!

Del Morrow I love that word flippydiddle! LOL

Hi Arylnn just getting to watch you and daughter questions I hope I can make it I been sick for a couple a days now, starting to feel a little bit better, but not quite, I made the strawberry fluff left the jello in for almost 45 minutes my family said it was very good
Hey there Rita...Awww, I'm so sorry you've been so nice girl.
