What a great boat! I am from the east coast and have been fishing CA for about 15 years now and I always wondered why more guys don't fish setups like yours Ali. I mean I guess it's not great for overnight or multi-day trips, but if you are going to run and gun this is the ideal setup in my opinion!
You nailed it. They are the best boat for day trips period. In years past Socal has been more of a slow going, overnight trip program. We are turning many of those trips into day trips with our speed, range and bait capacity. Just a new twist on the old style of fishing. I do miss my coffee maker and microwave!
We'll keep that in mind. It's really such an amazing product. It's changed fishing forever for us. No more bruises. Not so tired and beat up after a long day on the water. I tell people there's no going back once you have one.
All of the Florida and South Carolina shows from the last two seasons were on Rush's 32. It's a great boat but the 34' is just a bigger boat in many ways and does ride better for sure. As far as 32'ers go the 320Z is hard to beat. That said, Rush is building a 34' now.
I’m converting one of my storage boxes on my boat to a livewell. I’ve come to realize the importance of implementing a livewell water inlet correctly in order to keep my bait alive and healthy. In your video, I noticed your livewell inlet in the corner with a bunch of holes for the water to enter the tank and provide flow throughout the entire water column. Can you tell me where you found this or is this a total custom build? I would love to do the same on my boat. Does the inlet hose come from the bottom or top behind that panel with the holes? Thanks!
It's a custom built piece of PVC to allow smooth and steady water flow. Ideally you put your inlet at the bottom behind the pvc and your drain at the top. Good luck.
Hey Ali are you the nice guy that helped me out (big red beard) at Dana point tackle on Sunday morning? You were asking those guys about a reel you dropped off.. Dunno if it was you but if it was i really appreciate you for the tips on rigs. Just so happened to start marathon watching your videos the day after lol
Heading out tomorrow on my buddies center console west of 302 maybe san salvador knoll. 22ft cc vs 34 cc what a difference. That seakeeper gyro looks like a life changer. Now at 41 body is sore even after an islands trip. What is shortest length boat and beam that they can put a seakeeper on?
I am sure to see it in person someday at one of the high spots...My Skipjack 262 (One Eyed Jack ) was supposed to be my last boat for a while..Fly-bridge with a cabin... Cant fish every day! Longtime Member BD ..Fully Loaded.....
Damn, so the seakeeper is noticeable while running at speed? I’ve seen the slow speed results which are just mind blowing and I still have trouble wrapping around that hole gyro concept but man that’s incredible tech!
For sure. It keeps the boat from leaning to one side or the other while running. This keeps the hull at max efficiency and riding it's best. It's amazing piece of tech.
I'll be in the market for a boat within a year.. What type of hull would you recommend for the southern California coast? I'd be hauling out from Yuma, AZ. Looking for 25ft to 30ft. Keep up the GREAT work gentlemen!! Your boat is definitely a dream to have!! 👍👍
Really depends on budget and a lot of other factors. SeaVees are my favorite center console by a mile but they might not fit every budget. For a good cabin boat that works great in our waters I like the Gradys. Awesome boats and theres a lot of used ones to fit any budget. I'd stick with outboards especially if it's your first boat. They are so reliable and efficient these days.
@@Deepimpactocean We have an S3 because they S2 wasn't released at that point. I'd go S3 again in the same size boat. You can't have too much seakeeper.
When both handles are in forward or reverse, all three engines react. When you put one in fwd and one in reverse the middle motor stays in neutral allowing the boat to be manuvered with just the engines.

Thank you so much for sharing. You could do a whole video on the seakeeper and I’d watch. Very interested

Love your organization bud! Everything has a place in the boat: don’t need anything more or less. Perfect CC for our style of fishing here in SoCal!
Thanks so much. OCD has it's perks!
Awesome boat!!
Thank you very much for another great video!
Our pleasure!
Great Video, Ali. Looking to have a sea keeper installed on my 37 Bert. RIP Evinrude!
It will change your life! It's really the best thing since braided line! Enjoy it my friend.
Can you do an episode with Rush’s 322z? How’s the ride compare? Did he do the sea keeper as well?

Thank you very much Jim!

Yes sir. I remember ya. Hope it helped! Thanks for watching. Ali
Sure did thanks! This whole blue fin tuna thing has me hooked! Gonna be back to SD asap to try it for myself -Justin
Love your show! So is this going to be a new segment where you show other anglers boats and how they've outfitted them?
That would be cool!
I agree, always like to see other boats. I just put a video together showcasing my boat
We'll do Rush's boat next and show why it's so well suited for the South Florida/Keys fishing he does.
Awesome i would love that. My dad and I both really enjoy your show! Keep up the fantastic content👍🏻
Badass boat brother 🤙🏽
Thanks so much!

The new Seakeeper 1 going in boats 25' or bigger. It's a really small little unit that will fit most boats under 30' without too much hassle.

Thanks for following us! I'm sure we'll see ya out there.
Sick Ride.....
Thanks Matthew! We're very lucky!
Nicely laid out boat, neat and clean. Bet you were surprised as I was when Evinrude announced they would no longer make outboards.
Yep. Just like the rest of the world.
What a boat! How much did this all end up costing?
Thank you! These boats are all semi custom and the pricing can vary greatly. Reach out to SeaVee and they can give you an idea.

Did you guys fish yesterday? Thought I saw you out there.
That was us. Keeping the bluefin population under control.
We made it out on one of the cattle boats and ended up with 4 fish over 100 lbs all on flatfalls

Skipjack boats built for So Cal waters.. cant beat the 262 Or the
Blackman 26 both great boats for what you are looking for
HighLife Action Sports Videos As a fellow Skipjack 262 owner I couldnt agree more! But its a big boat to be dragging from AZ to CA...
@@Sjhssucks I do own a GMC 2500HD.. Not a diesel though.. Thank's for the input guy's!!

Nice sled Ali!
Thank you sir!
Do a video on how to rig a live flyer
Look up how to bridle a mackerel here on UA-cam. Same process.
What is recommended service on your sea keeper? Have you serviced yet?
No maintenance is required until you hit 1000 hours. We are about half way there after a couple of seasons.
@@LocalKnowledge oh wow... thats great. What size gyro did u go with?

34 best size for a CC
We agree!
Do you guys have to input your own money or is the products payed through sponsorships?
Little of both.
how does the two throttle binnacle operate three outboards?
When both handles are in forward or reverse, all three engines react. When you put one in fwd and one in reverse the middle motor stays in neutral allowing the boat to be manuvered with just the engines.
Your get up and go has gone up and went. What will be your next repower? Evenrude is done.
We love our G2's and we're sad to see them go. Not sure what the new year will bring.
Motors worth half now lol
Not really, but ok.
