I got this desk for my birthday after wanting it for forever. I struggled with the little shelf underneath. For some reason, if I followed the instructions, it did not line up properly. I had my s/o look at and he couldnt figure it out either. (This was how I came across your video because I needed to see how someone else did it) I think I may have gotten a faulty one BUT I just installed it upside done so the two lips fit into eachother and it's working great so far 👍
I'm surprised you didnt like the lil foam pencil holder! I'm stoked about it because I use colored pencils alot and they always drop or roll off the table. Then the pigment or graphite inside breaks and I've ruined the pencil and yadada We'll see how it holds up though, I feel like over time it'll lose its form and become useless.
ANYWHO! I originally wanted to comment because I enjoyed your video enough to come back, after putting my table together, to rewatch all the way through. Great job 👏 I just subscribed 😄

Yeah, the little foam piece I just wasn’t quite feeling. I prefer to just lay the pencils down in it’s spot
But yeah, it’s been holding up great. I’ve got a little one so I only get to fully utilize it about once a week now, but it’s doing great thus far!!
