My excitement for this game is truly on another level. This franchise means the world to me you have no idea! What did you guys think? Let me know down below what your favorite part to the gameplay was!
The thing I loved the most about BOTW was that there was no "right way" of doing anything, so everyone had their own experience going through the game. Now with the new mechanics the creativity will be even more rewarded
Something that's going to be changed completely is travel. Not just because of the vehicles either. Fuse a red chuchu jelly to a shield and try to shield surf. If this works like the mushroom they showed then the jelly should just explode the moment your shield hits the ground sending you flying. This same logic could be applied to a large number of items, completely changing shield surfing from a cool but ultimately inefficient feature, to basically a pocket vehicle to use anytime you don't have access to car/ plane/ boat parts.
@@Confron7a7ion7 this is awesome! the posibilities, the fun, the more many ways to play, the replay factor. Also any restrictions the game has on these mechanics can be easily removed by modders.
@@nicholase82 Look at the things on enemy heads in the previous trailer. We'll definitely be able to use them to make some awesome weapons, but of course there are going to be new weapons overall.
It's incredible to me how they were able to create abilities that give you even more freedom than the ones from BOTW. I'm genuinely so excited to feel the sense of "oh my god, if I can do that, then I can do this!" again.
i’ll go one further and say that botw is designed to be built upon, and I’m surprised other developers failed to improve upon botw’s mechanics and design.
@@abaque24 mechanics and design, while alot of it seems the same, they only showed off a little, and I honestly don't think they should change too much, it already had the best movement it any 3d zelda game and the controls were great, I'd love for fully customizable button mapping, but besides that I think the changes made to the map plus the new mechanics and revamped graphics more than make up for the lack of innovation in other areas
I don't know why, but of all the FANTASTIC things we saw in this gameplay, I was so impressed with the small detail of the water raining down on Link after he dived into the water and created the splash. It's the small details that make it so good :)
I’m just so happy at how DeeBee became such a Zelda fan, it’s so fun seeing his journey and being so excited at every new release and content. How he gets excited even at the console designs and all!! I’ve been with Zelda nearly my whole life, so many memories, it’s honestly so heartwarming to see others become infatuated with this series’ magic
The way you've fallen in love with the Zelda franchise and your commitment to it now is so wonderful to see, DeeBee, and resonates in a lot of us long time fans
I'm glad you're excited. I discovered your channel by your Zelda videos and it's really fun watching your other videos. I hope you have a blast playing this one too.
@@Maxippo I was kind of half joking, but is there anything wrong with liking Pikmin 4 more than TotK? I think TotK will be fantastic, but I also love Pikmin and I might end up liking that more when it comes out. Is that a problem for some reason?
This game will be nuts regarding creativity. The power a Savage Lynel Crusher + Savage Lynel Sword combination can do will be immense and that's just one of the hundreds of combinations available. Literally every item we find might become extremely useful through a bit of imagination. I loved the Ganon's slow tune on the floating island too. It seems as if Nintendo saw the multiple videos of players like me doing crazy stuff with the wagons on goron city, floating until we reached the ceiling of the map. This game is GOTY already.
I like how they took a flaw with the original game, kept it in and was like, let's just expand it. That more than makes up for it as opposed to outright getting rid of it. I hope Fusion ends up being one of the best mechanics in a Zelda game
Sooo incredibly hyped to explore, mess around, & learn more about the new gameplay! Thank you for streaming it for us on Twitch earlier. 💜 Community Love 💜
"There are lots of ways to reach the skyislands" Fingers crossed one of them is windbombing. I do wonder if that will still be possible or not. And Fuse looks awesome and even a little silly. That will be immensely fun to use and experiment with.
intresting nintendo america's dub of the presintation was different to teh subtiles nintendo europe did, as there were several lines int he dub tht were not what was said in the subtitles (and knowing japaneese the subs were matching what anuma was really saying)
Putting the new skills in some order of using Fuse will be the one most used in the game, there will be more farming of items. Ultrehand, with it's building skills. These will be the most used of the skills. We can differentiate of the other two skills once game play commences on the 12 of May.
I can't wait for this game 😊 I'm currently playing through BOTW on my little sister's switch for the first time, I don't have a switch anymore. but thats not stopping me for the hype of this game 😂 love your excitement 😅
All of us probably has a bunch of extra materials playing BOTW, now I'm excited to fuse literally everything!! 😂 i'm telling you now arrow + meat is OP!!
Just imagine the possibilities people make for the fusion weapons, and also the ultrahand. Like even 6 years later, people still find new things about botw, so im sure totk gonna be that as well too
Famous last words: "Does it come in black?" I FELT that Dee. Something you were hoping for & then they just drop it on you like that. Black & Gold with White & Gold...and Green. Tears of the Kingdom will be, well, LEGENDARY. Play Skyward Sword WITH MOTION CONTROLS when you play. It's worth it.
It's always so much fun to see Dee's genuine view and reaction to my fav game. At first I was bummed to see the mechanics and main land of Hyrule are exactly the same as botw (but it was expected so no biggie), but oh wow in the second half of the gameplay, my mind went brrr and my imagination ran wild. Still crying about the poor weapon durability though. I'm also glad they didn't spoile anything about the story and characters, 'cause my bet is that the story will be THE other super important thing that will break the game and have it free from the shadow of botw. Crossing fingers
People cry about the durability, but if it didn't exist, you'd explore less and be even less incentivized to go looking in many different areas for new weapons, shields and bows to defend yourself with.
Weapons should still break, it makes sense. I should not be able to whack metal monsters with sticks and swords without them breaking. Plus it's not like it wasn't super easy to get new weapons
Omg, my eyes became bigger and bigger 😲 This is too much logical thinking for me - I love it! 😍 If the special Switch isn't sooo expensiv, I would buy it, because I already haven't one.

React to heros purpose episode 5!!! Also I love the fuse ability so much
I liked the part where I can craft new weapons and build cars and planes
Deebeegeek - Tears of the Kingdom , GAME of the YEAR easily.
Seebeegeek - there are NO limitations , only your IMAGNATION . its an OPEN world game.
UltraHand, which, due to the green goo holding everything together, I will henceforth be calling UltraSnot 😁
That fuse feature is more revolutionary then it seems. They made crafting without menus. Thats insane and its so seamless.
Even though weapon breaking is back, this more than makes up for it. May 12 can't come soon enough!!! My mind is swarming with ideas
Finally, a port of GMod to consoles lmfao. Jkjk, it is the ultimate evolution of the physics-based gameplay of BoTW
Someone who gets it.
For real! Has a menu-free crafting system ever been done before?! This is so hype!
Yes, the crafting thing looks so amazing

Links hair when he jumps down the cliff and that water splash with so many drops when he dives in the river omg
