Hi! Starchaser77.. Thanks for the comment. Aside from this cd, they released a cd called Once Upon A Time In The East: The Early Years 1981-1982. It's their BBC sessions and rare recordings from the independent years. It was released in 2003.
Baz back in Bungay area I think. Was at School with him 70 to 74 and although Frog took it seriously the other 3 just wanted to have a good time. I bumped into Frog in London a long time ago and he was playing with Strawberry Switchblade.
Not that I know of. They had a string of singles which received some airplay between 1982 and 1985 (when this one was out) but their highest chart placing was number 44 with their cover of Cliff's In the Country (I knew the original already because my mum owned a 40 Greatest Hits album of his comprising two long players with 10 songs on each side running chronologically from 1958 debut smash Move It to medium-sized 1977 hit My Kinda Life). The first Farmers Boys song I heard, and a strong contender for my favourite of theirs, was I Think We Need Help in spring 1982.
Great lost track - and great audio!🦻

I saw them at Aberystwyth university in 1982. I think supporting the Water boys. Way better! Where are they now?

They had some great singles in the first half of the 80s, but I don't think there ever was a 'Best of' - correct me if I'm wrong.
