Try a steamer, no chemicals,kills germs, just distilled water works on all kinds of things. Will peal paint if left in one area to long so keep it moving. They're expensive but worth it. I found mine at a thrift store for $25 brand new, box, manual registration card, it was a $400 unit. Score! I've used mine on 1991 land cruiser engine and all..the steamer has different attachments . The nozzle I use on my truck just spray then with my power washer and it works great. Sometimes I'll use degreaser steamer combo.
Yes, but no one is perfect and our days are never perfect, especially if you have young kids, work full time, etc. and things get neglected which is absolutely normal. So what's wrong with helping people clean their stove?

After you have it cleaned really well, use carnauba car wax to ease cleaning.
