So I return from vacation to Tennessee, the Great Smokey Mountains NP, the Shenandoah NP and family in New Jersey to find you were just a few counties away in Ohio while I was gone! Hope you enjoyed your stay and the quilt shops I like to visit when I "make an Amish country run" a few times year. 😊
Oh my goodness. Now I want to go on a quilt shop walkabout.
OMG, Rob, I love seeing your travels. I'm getting so many ideas for quilt shops to visit!! Your videos are just GREAT!!
That was fun! Thanks for taking us along! I'll have to check that show out next year, I am not too far from Ohio. A treadle serger, that kind of cracks me up though!
Thank you for sharing
Love it!!!!
That was so much fun! And that little girl was quilting on a longarm that was bigger than she was. I love the carriages and horses. And those quilt were amazing. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love this video! Thank you for making this as I grew up in Ohio and I miss Amish Country! Great food (especially Custard pie) and great people!
Really enjoyed this video. Some friends gave our family a treadle sewing machine when I was a teenager. I made a lot of clothes on it. I loved using the treadle! I hated to leave it when I got married but my husband bought me a new sewing machine soon after and I am still sewing happily.💕
Thanks, Rob, for showing us around the Amish fair of Ohio! It was a joy to see the difference between the quilts. I love getting ideas from them!
Till next time!
I always stop in at Miller's Dry Goods and Lone Star Quilt Shops when I visit the area! Sew much fun!
Amazingly awesome video showing your antics. Love this Rob - shows the fun you were having. Love this!!!
Great video, Rob! Lucky ME because I live in Ohio and I go to all these places several times a year. Yes, I'm a quilter, but I was not able to get to the Quilt Fair this year. There are a lot of quilt shops in Amish Country and I enjoy going to them. I live in northern Ohio, about a mile from Lake Erie, so it takes 2 and a half to 3 hours to get to Amish Country. But it's a nice scenic drive. And I love The Lone Star Quilt Shop.
It was pleasant to watch. And really good music. And it would be better to filming backstage with less speed. Now quilts are blurred.
So happy you enjoyed your visit to our little corner of this beautiful state. I hope our paths will cross somewhere down the line ( I missed you by about a half hour from the pictures I saw posted ) ! I enjoy watching your videos and always learn something new!
My daughter and I saw you there! Check it off the bucket list!! (y)
This was a super fun video. Almost felt like I was in the car with you (without screaming & grabbing the dash....😝)..
You have an amazing time wherever you are. Love ya Dude!!
Wow 😮 Bucket list for sure!
Cool beans! Thanks, Rob!
This was so fun. I wanted MORE!
We were there for the trunk show--had a blast!
So fun to see. I am looking forward to seeing you in Shipshewana Indiana next year!
Vicki I’m an Aussie who lived in Ohio for a couple of years. Shipshewana was my favourite place to visit.
@@Deeloveshergoldies I only live about 20 minutes from there! I go a couple times a month!
Wonderful video 😎👍🇦🇺
Treadle serger seems an unlikely marriage.
where do you buy the treadle serger?
OH Rob!!! How awesome!!! Does ANYONE know the name of the quilt at 1:28 - 1:30 (Stars in Circles...) I just love that quilt... I am so sorry I missed you!!! You weren't very far from me and I meant to go. But our lives get so very busy... I haven't been able to QUILT since I saw you in Dayton, OH, and still haven't gotten my sewing room set up since the move in December of last year when we moved to pastor a new church!!! But that is the focus of this weekend! YAY!! Keep me in your prayers Rob, as I continue to pray for you. There was an old song.. "pray for me and I'll pray for you." ua-cam.com/video/baFDE8joZgw/v-deo.html...
Keep on keeping on... Be Blessed!
I wanted to see the quilts, not you!
