Of course the President has the right and the obligation to pay tribute to Audie Murphy. If it weren’t for America’s most profound problem (racism) there would also have been a wider acknowledgment of African-Americans efforts in the U.S. military.
@@martinnolan4800 Yes, very true. And some have gotten recognition later than others, who remain afterthoughts. Very unfair. More raised voices are necessary to help honor the forgotten men of wars past.

By the way, how many times did Trump pay a visit to our overseas Troops and how long did it take him to do so? And what's really funny about Trump,, that he and Hannity visited a base here in the United States and in the evening,, all bases play taps when they lower the flag which means that everyone who is outside is required to stop, face the towards the music and salute. Trump didn't stand nor did Hannity and Trump made the comment that it was a nice thing that the military was doing to play that in honor of Hannity. Dumb and dumber. Oh by the way, Trump is the first President not to visit the Troops during Christmas time in a War zone. Guess his bone spurs were acting up.
