Diesel convertible just wrong sorry.
The R171 s aesthetically more pleasing... but petrol please, not a diesel tractor engine.
This is OM651 diesel engine with twin turbo setup ,pretty quick to be honest
its a great car to drive
With a remap it produces 245PS and a whopping 594NM of torque, that's more torque than the SLK 55 AMG (5.5 Litre V8) 😊
This will be my first car I reckon once I pass my tests
Good Choice
always wondered what a diesel slk would sound like and i am glad I went for the 350, love the sound of the V6
Fabulous car and I am currently looking for the right spec one.
I did notice your Triumph jacket and I hope you are not wearing it under false pretences?
Kind regards Paul
I am at the moment but just as i was notified i had a new comment i was browsing Autotrader looking for a Bonneville, snd did have a bike when i bought the Jacket 😂

@@BarrieCrampton I hate black cars and it needs to be euro 6 and very high spec. I've looked at every SLK currently for sale and there isn't one close atm but thanks
Road and vat HAHAHA You love your slavery. Sales tax? Hahaha
no, not a big fan actually
Very good comentary
Glad you enjoyed it
Love this car!
Hi Barry, have you driven an SLK350, which is better for the money the 250 cdi or to pay extra for the 350?
Kunine i would be quite happy with the 250 but the 350 is better
@@BarrieCrampton I have a 2014 SLK 350 and love it, It sounds beautiful, power when you need it and happy happy to cruise if your stuck in traffic
I’ve owned the previous model R171 in 350 V6 AMG guise. Also 2.3 R170. Great cars both of them. Eventually bought a CLK 2.2 CDI sport which I am trading in for the very colour make model and spec in this video. Test drive today and couldn’t believe the performance tbh.
Zero interest in owning that car! But this guy is great at going through info on the car! I watched the transit connect and it was great
Barries been going up market recently, it’s nice too the fancy quirks and features! You have helped me decide on a car Barry :)
great review and a lovely white merq barry
How is the SATNAV updated?
Usually by a new cd or sd card
@@BarrieCrampton These obtained via Mercedes?
@@silverarrowslk yes, or ebay

@@BarrieCramptonneed 350 sl,k diesel turbo 2012.Amc

Price please.
Such an elegant car shame it's a diesel
Beka Machurishvili A diesel with 500NM of torque
With a remap it produces 245PS and a whopping 594NM of torque, that's more torque than the SLK 55 AMG (5.5 Litre V8) 😊
You can get them with petrol.
@@Aprilia_Tuono_V4_1100_Rider Which remap do you recommened? As in software?
satuning.co.uk do a gadget called Truetune which programs your existing ECU through the OBDII port, so you can put back to standard if or when you want to 😊
Air scarf 🙏😅
why on earth buy a poxy diesel version
apart from they are more economical, last twice as long and usually as fast and a lot more forgiving than petrol, i dont know
@@BarrieCrampton and lower road fund licence cost
I don’t want to watch cars that made for Europe.
thats why there is an off button on tvs and computers
Did someone force you to watch?
