A simple hack to ensure you align your new wheel is to apply a strip of masking tape to the trim piece on the back of the wheel and the dash. Cut the tape in the gap between the two. When you transfer the trim to the new wheel, the tape will line up even if it turned on you before locking.
I prefer the look of the OEM steering wheel, but would love a flat bottom steering wheel to make getting into the car easier. Especially when people park very close to the driver's door. The only concern I have, isn't the airbag inflation designed with the shape of the steering wheel?
If only it didn't have gross alcantara. I don't know why that material is so popular on seats and steering wheels. It already feels nasty on your hands and clothes, but once you get some hand sweat on a wheel or butt sweat in a seat it it's even more awful
As someone who has some clammy hands, I absolutely agree. Alcantara is best kept for door panels etc.. FTSpeed does offer quite a few material options for these wheels ;)

Good stuff
I’ve been wanting that wheel for my new BRZ
Why didn't you go with the one that had the lights in it?
All in all 30min job fairly easy install for anyone
Really is easy, the clock spring part is just anxiety inducing, kind of feels like defusing a bomb lol
What size is the wheel 350mm?
How did you lock the steering wheel?
Disconnect battery, jiggle the wheel ;)
@@rallysportdirect thanks!
So on website gr86 isn’t listed. I would think it would fit. Can y’all confirm before I buy it?? Thanks
Incase you haven’t gotten an answer, anything that doesn’t involve the front bumper will fit. So yes it will fit perfect.

You have to drive with gloves
Keyword: grip. I love it.
nice bokeh
Kind of the uncle you don’t trust vibe.
Alcantara is crap. Perforated leather grips are OG..
Great, how to downgrade a car.
Personal preference. I bought the same one except got leather instead of alcantera
