- SO excited to be able to get into my first brand new car -- the new 2022 Subaru BRZ. As soon as I saw the GR86 revealed, I knew I had to have one!

break in periods are pretty much non existent with new cars today

@@JuanMorales-wx4pd A lot of modern cars are partially broken-in during production but i’m sure most manufacturers of newer cars suggest not tracking it the day after you get it with less than 100 miles on it. But hey, he’s riding in a 2022 BRZ that he owns, he can do whatever he’d like. I just thought it was hilarious.

Along the lines of Evan's advice.. I just quit my management job of 10 years to go and pursue my dream to do auto body repair and paint. I'll be making less money but, at least I'll be happy. Love the new car Evan!

It sounds so different from the old BRZ, granted that is to be expected being a 2.4. I love it though. Definitely looking forward to what is to come!

Finally got a Greddy catback for my '20 BRZ and it definitely changes the entire car. Already loved the car stock, but with mods it's even better. Being able to actually hear it is awesome. Looking forward to what you do with the new model!
I drove one today since I’m a tech for Subaru and I do pre delivery inspections and it was very comfortable. Wish it had a bit more power tho
Maybe keep driving until you pass the break in period and do another review if it feels faster. Curious if the the ecu locks out full power before break in.

The BRZ is sick but I would of gone for the GR GT86
I've always wanted FRS, GT86, BRZ since I first saw one as a kid in 2014. I'll always love them. I'm ngl i wasnt a fan of the second gen but its growing on me. Although the first gen will always be one I want to buy because it's the one I fell in love with and it's just special. Either way the new one is still hella lit.
personally prefer the GR86 just cause of the front bumper but still very nice car

I wanted a 86/BRZ so bad ever since it came out. I finally bought a BRZ back in 2019 after my daughter was born. This is such a fantastic car I still love it so much every time I hop in it.
You have your plans, but I do suggest you go explore its limits on the track before you do major upgrades.

So at the end of the video you mentioned that materialistic things won't make someone happy. I agree with that statement to a point. I think hobbies help make a person happy and in many cases that requires materialistic things. Example being musical instruments, crafting supplies, tools, ect. I also believe that money doesn't make you happy, but it provides the freedom to find what does make you happy. We spend a majority of our time working hard to stay afloat. If we didn't have to about that because of financial freedom, that wasted time can be put to self care, hobby exploration, and other things. Just my opinion though.
The advice at the end of the video was what made me like and subscribe 😊👌🏼

I’m right there with you on wanting one since they came out when I was in high school. One of the rich kids at our school had his parents buy him a brand new orange frs as soon as they came out for his 16th birthday and I think everyone that pulled into the school parking lot that knew anything about cars was a bit jealous haha

I'm sure a ton of the aftermarket parts are interchangeable from the earlier generation! I had to drop 10 grand into my brz to make it "decently quick" lol, but I love it. Excited to see what you do man!
