- The legendary Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia exquisitely displays Raga Kirwani on Bamboo flute. Accompanying him on tabla is Pandit Vijay Ghate. 25 April 2011, TheaterHotel de Oranjerie, Roermond, The Netherlands.
Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia is a flautist estraordinaire. Here he delights and enthralls the audience with his unique mastery, his versatility and his inimitable style.
He is recipient of Padma Vibhushan award, the second highest civilian honour awareded by the Government of India. Pandit Chaurasia is recipient of Officier in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau - a royal distinction awarded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands. He is also awarded Chevalier dans I'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres - a high civilian honor by the Government of France.

I listened to many of your recitals.Each and every one a masterpiece.I do not have that much poetry to express my words in appreciation of your histeronical talents. An excellent support by Tabla by Pandit Vijay Ghate.

It has been a blessing to hear him play since 1980's , and it is still the same as it has always been all these years. It'ss not the sound coming from instruments its the emotions coming out from soul Beyond words.
What out of the world, celestial, ethereal, sublime phrases! A totally mesmerized audience as if stunned to silence!!

I play 18 different instruments and have my name in the Limca book of records for playing 6 different instruments at a time with eyes blindfolded. I am also a music director in the kannada film industry and I have won more than 70 state and national awards. This is just to update you about my time managing capabilities.
Brother then take my advice. Pls start studying if you want to become at least half of what you are dreaming now instead of wasting all your time on the most silliest things in the world. Even i am highly educated and quit the post of General manager in Mitsubishi motors just for the sake of my passion in Music.
