- We love the small Cozumel airport. It's convenient and a quick ride to all island destinations. If you can fly directly into Cozumel, great! But what if you want to fly direct? You have points on an airline that doesn't fly into Cozumel? Or it's just cheaper to fly into Cancun Airport. Cancun is an option! If you've been nervous to try the bag drag, join us as we take you from the Cancun airport to the ADO busses, to Playa del Carmen, the ADO bus station to the ferries to Cozumel, and off the ferry to the taxi queue. And back again! We give you pricing (which could change) and pro tips on booking and animal transport.

Still looking for a video of how to get from the Cozumel Airport to downtown Cozumel. Maybe next time!
From the airport, there are two companies that will take you downtown. When you come out of customs. You’ll go right. There will be a line of people waiting to “help” you but they’re timeshare sales. Go past them and before you exit, you can buy tickets for one of the shuttles.
