These people would have practiced like crazy for this competition. I would have been completely nervous on stage in front of these expert carnatic musicians. 😰😰😰😰😰 This shows how serious they are about music .
Vidwan Bharath Sundar did a really good job. Look at the confidence in each of the participants. Really an outstanding program 👏 👌 👍

Yes, it is unjust that some were rewarded and a few were left out. Everyone selected in the final round ought to have been equally rewarded. A discrimination at this juncture is uncalled for...we enjoyed a variety of auditory treats. Can't keep on listening to the same voice of sriranjini always. Malavi got an unfair deal in getting left out. Also vrinda and Sangeetha
When you listen to Carnatic music it soothens your nerve lead you to bhakthi solace compassion and it is soul filling and creates peace at once

To see Brinda, Anahita, Bharat as successful singers now is so encouraging. The older musicians have all changed so much.

Good selection on winners . all final contestants are very good. it was also indicated this is ot a competition and it is a career. but why you have neglected to congratulate the left out contestants 4 5 and 6 .you should have given some recognition and support for their efforts. please do this atleast in future rounds in finals..

Carnatic sangeeta originated in Karnataka during Sri Vidyaranya Mahaswamigalu..by Swamigalu Himself. Changing K to C in the name does not change the history. Nevertheless it's continues yo be Bhatitiya music....it's not foreign afterall
Sorry to contradict. Carnatic means 'carne means ears and the sounds very soothing to ears is carnatic.' Nothing to do with Karnataka state.
Carnatic must is developed from folk music nothing to do with Karnataka state

The visuals tell you all that is wrong about Carnatic music ( and Indian classical music) in general. You have a bunch of incredibly talented,sincere, aspiring young musicians on stage and a bunch of arrogant Bastards ( with the exception of Neyveli, he was unfailingly polite!) probing them! Who is that son of a bitch judge sitting cross-legged with No respect for the art that is being performed? Just the way they question! And the expression on the faces of the bloody "Vidwans" in the audience - G.S. Mani, Trichur Ramachandran, Balamuralikrishna (Dead? Good riddance!) ? Shame!!
