Your vids are great cause they don’t only show the good parts of snowmobiling, but also the harsh realities of snowmobiling at times and what it takes to break woods like this. It makes it feel real and relatable. Keep on rippin!
This kind of riding is the ultimate. This is what me and my friends used to do is go find an old road allowance full of snow and play and fight our way through it. The challenge and buddy help me get out made for the best riding.
yo! if you’re ever heading to jackman and stop in the forks another awesome ride is up coburn mtn!! it took about an hour snd the view was awesome ! cool little climb too.
A lot of people that snowmobile in the U.P. Michigan, Like me , utilize old logging roads for fun. Woods are too deep unless you have a mountain sled. I would really like to see how your sled does on unplowed old logging trails. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a new sled next year. Thanks
Kota how does the 2.0 track do on hard pack trails? I have a 2019 Assault with a 1.6 track. Snow checking a new Matryx Assault and thinking of going with the 2.0 track.
@@KotaBearTV yeah I live about an hour south of the bridge and normally we have around 2 feet of good snow but only have gotten about a foot so far. Got a good 4” last night and another 2-4 coming Tuesday so anything helps. Also love the sled! Just got myself the 2020 800 Indy XC 137 and wishing I would’ve waited to get the Maytryx!
Nice man hopefully you get some good snow and yeah the new matryx is really good with how sleek it is near the gas tank and the new 7s display is amazing and thr heated hand grips work amazing!!
Unfortunately probally won't be riding especially with my new job that I start next month the summer is 60 70 hours a week so won't really have any time..
@@KotaBearTV Going to rain here again 15-20 cms of snow first on tuesday then rain later that evening. We have really only had one actual week of winter on the south coast of newfoundland , canada. Jealous when i see all that powder youre playing in :)
@@KotaBearTV for sure the etec is faster on top end google it try get your patriot to go 128mph thats what my grandpa Marcel Isidore Jr got his 2003 arctic cat f7 mod to go GPS not dream o meter
I mean you can watch videos on UA-cam polaris model sleds that are the equivalent to the skidoo are very close sometimes polaris beats them sometimes skidoo beats them so 🤷

For sure it is the best love ever second of it trails get boring lol
Love watching these vids! My sba matryx looks just like yours but with red rails and red ski loops! Love how the 850 stands up so easily
Thats awsome man I bet that red looks amazing!!
haven’t even watched the video yet but i already know it’s going to be good.
You are right for sure!! This is one ofd the better ones for sure!!!
Ya
Again u showed what assault is all about.. good job!
Haha yeah I try really hard to show both sides of the assault for you guys!!
Watching these passed couple vids is basically sealing my decision on getting a 146 sled!
Yes!! 146 is thr best of both worlds for sure man!!
Hahaha nice I love my 2 it does good in both situations!!
Yo me too! His same sled infact! Even the color lol
Hell yeah man!!

I'm up in Lake parlin right now well probably do Coburn moutain before we leave from where I am its like a 30 min rise
Great video. looks like a lot of fun. Except for the getting stuck part.
Ahh wasn't to bad but if you don't get stuck your not riding hard enough!!!
Keep on the grind man😤😤
Im trying man!! cant wait for maine hopefully i get some good footage for you guys!

Kota how does the 2.0 track do on hard pack trails? I have a 2019 Assault with a 1.6 track. Snow checking a new Matryx Assault and thinking of going with the 2.0 track.
The 2.0 track runs good but it doesn't hook up on hard pack like the 1.6 does I put 2k miles on the track this year and just is started to show wear
Hoping we get some snow like this soon here in Michigan. It’s been a slow year for snow and not looking too good for the rest of the season.
That sucks man I know last weekend the UP got blasted with over 2 feet but otherwise you guys haven't had much..

Hahaha love the video and I also watched the ads all the way through so he got more money
Thanks man appreciate it that helps me alot!!!
Great video, what camera setup do you use. Keep up the great videos
Thanks bud and I use a pro shot mount keeps a great angle!!
Where are you from kotabear?
Upstate NY
How does the machine do trail riding would u rather have a 137 or the 146
The 137 is better on trail for sure but I rather sacrifice some trail riding for the off trail capability
If you want to make a sharp turn. Counter steer. Wrong foot forward. Throttle.
i do know how to i did it in the video you just cant c my feet
When are you getting a exhaust for that sled?
Probally won't be to much of a hassle don't need the tickets and people complaining all the time
U still got the highlifter?
No I had to sell it unfortunately
@@KotaBearTV so what u gonna be riding this spring and summer?
Unfortunately probally won't be riding especially with my new job that I start next month the summer is 60 70 hours a week so won't really have any time..
@@KotaBearTV so does this mean your youtube channel is in jeopardy
No I will still be making snowmobile videos
Hows the sled with bottoming? I'm a big guy too and wondering if stock springs can handle it or if I should order with some stuffer ones
I have 1900 miles on mine and I stiffed the shocks up never bottomed out till about 1800 miles
Nice thanks
No prob man
Fun looking area there today ! :)
Yes it was for sure hopefully we can get some good snow again and go play up there again!!

That so unfortunate there talking it might change to sleet and ice here also just praying it doesn't 🙏😔
@@KotaBearTV I'll pray for ya brother nothing more frustrating when all i can think about is riding lol
Same lol but I can't complain this year has been a pretty good year for us!!

Thays why you have to be precise!!!

Next week at somepoint got like 6 guys going
Enjoy buddy maybe I’ll cya on the trails 16 red pro x and my father on 2020 black 850 assault
I'll look for it but not sure how much trail riding we are gonna be doing!
great vid, koooter needs an upgrade
You should lead next time! Then you don’t have Cooters tracks that jolt you everywhere
Hahaah I like following becuase people like seeing the person leading!! And what they are going througb
@@KotaBearTV True that 🤟🏻
I’m thinking this sled was a better move for you than the SKS.
It's a better 50 50 for sure but the sks would have been better in the trees with its narrower ski stance!
@@KotaBearTV just get the mountain side spindles. What I did with mine and make a world of difference. Then u can change up stance if need wider..
Thats the plan if I don't get a newer sled I will be reaching out and getting some
@@KotaBearTV less chance geting stuck with the 155 of the sks ?
@@moto4power a 155 is harder to get stuck yes there meant for the moutains!
Still less then an 850 etec
What?

Idk about horsepower but top end I think the etec might have it beat

We brought one home too test id give b e it a 4 out of 10 not the best sled
Idk what you normally ride but if your riding anothrr cross over thos should be no wheres near a 4 out of 10
