    I bought my 2010 frontier new. It now has 217000 miles on it. It has been an absolutely great truck. The only things that I have had to do to it other than regular maintenance is replace a cam position sensor. Did it myself and cost $35. The other was to replace the driver's door window switch also $35 and that is it. You can't beat that with any other vehicle.

      slayerguitar it's about time for us to freshen up our suspension too now. Titan swap and 2.5 coilovers in the front with old man emu in the rear. That's the plan soon

    Hi @Frontier Lifestyle would recommend the 2020 frontier with the new engine and transmission?

    • @NaritasanStudios
      @NaritasanStudios  4 роки тому +4

      I haven't personally been in one yet but what I know about cars is you always wait till the first year production is done with so the bugs are worked out. Hopefully I'll get to review a 2020 soon!

    Great little trucks. Loved my 2010 frontier but I recently traded it in for TRD off road Tacoma. The v.6 in this truck beats the Tacoma for sure but overall I love the Tacoma. Hoping it’s as reliable as the Frontier was 👍🏻

      @@NaritasanStudios I drove one today a 2019 with 21000. I like it but I notice as soon as I put it into drive it had a vibration it went away when driving. When I came to a stop it came back. While stopped I put it in neutral. Went away. When every it was in gear it came back. I noticed from the car fax report it was a rental car. Do who knows. One of the renter may have beaten on it. Looking at 2014 on monday

    • @NaritasanStudios
      @NaritasanStudios  3 роки тому +3

      Rental cars are never worth picking up. Ours is a 2014 and we have been very happy with ours. We got ours new in 15 as a left over that only had a few test drive miles on it. You may want to hold out a couple more weeks. The 2022 Frontier is about to be released. The 3rd gen for Nissan Frontier.

      @@sallad2645 yes I did, I like it so far. After you get it upgrade the headlight bulb to led. You won't regret it. There about $30 on Amazon.

    Heater coil, timming chain, transmission, radiator are all these common problems in the frontier?

    • @NaritasanStudios
      @NaritasanStudios  3 роки тому +2

      The only thing on that list that we've had problems with and has already been fixed was the heater core not coil. Replaced alternator after submerging in mud 1 too many times. Other than that just normal maintenance.
      Oh there was the side airbags that deployed after running over a small boulder! Fml front seat belts locked up and it scared the shit out if my wife 🤣🤣🤣

    why do you drive in 4th with the O/drive off?

    • @NaritasanStudios
      @NaritasanStudios  3 роки тому +4

      Good question Luke!!! It keeps you in a lower gear when on regular streets so the throttle responds quicker. I only use overdrive over 65 and turn it off up hills so I reduce laggy bogged out feeling. Hope that answers your question 🤪

    • @huntersinsulation
      @huntersinsulation 3 роки тому +1

      @@NaritasanStudios I guess it's a bit of a trade-off, huh? Just like adding a turbo makes it respond quicker and have better power, but it makes the engine work harder and get worse fuel economy. That is the trade off for the extra power

    • @NaritasanStudios
      @NaritasanStudios  3 роки тому +1
