I wonder if people would give themselves permission to" be" who they were created to be instead of being pushed into a mold , the world would be a better place. Thanks Lucy for peeping back into utube. Love love your stuff that you share. Jane you could do classes and introduce people"How" to transition into the FREE life
Lucy! I used to follow your family You Tube channel. So good to see you...and feel your energy! Loved this interview! I am almost 66...a former (traditional) American school teacher...mother of 2 grown daughters...and grandmother to 5 lovely grandchildren. The longer I live, the more I am convinced that children desperately need the freedom, respect, and "buffet" that you all spoke of. I will definitely purchase Jane's book. Hannah and Charlie are wonderful examples of raising, loving, and respecting the unique individuals that they are.
What a wonderful conversation! Thanks so much for sharing. I have 3 kids who I am home edding (relaxed homeschoooing, almost unschooling). It’s so nice to see the comments and advice coming from the grown up kids. ❤😊
Oh I LOVED this! I cried 🥲. The part where they talk about backpacking and Charlie says ‘yeah that was just mum’ ❤️ Sounds like Jane had a real zest for life and created a beautiful childhood for her kids. And when Hannah said ‘we could do whatever we wanted as long as we didn’t hurt anyone’ - my 5 year old says that phrase 🥰. I dunno, it made me feel like I am doing something right. Such a lovely conversation, I could’ve listened for another 9 hours. I’m off to buy Jane’s book!
