Never put pins through longerons spars etc, surround the pins around the pieces always and use a little thought in where to put pins in,needles are less destructive to the parts, Perhaps try white wood glueing the holes afterwards if one must puncture the wood? Nicely made your model well done.I found some gentleman had brought up all the remaing Kiel Kraft kits and tools in Cornwell some years ago . Minniemower Glider and Chieften are wonderfull freeflight kits and today easily converted to RC. Be Blessed and thanks for the video showing.

I’m scratch building a P-47D / 25-30 RA bubble top Thunder Bolt. With 30” wing span five channel set up electric set up. Still not sure how to figure out what size electric motor to use? I’ve been building air planes out of balsa since the 1960’s. I love free flight models the best. Rubber band powered or CO-2 powered but now with this amazing electric motor set up I have to give them a try.

For that plane a brushless 480 or power10 (Eflite, or other comparable motor with an 12x4 or 11x5.5 propeller would work with a 30 or 40amp ESC.
