Maryland resident here. You called this snowfall to a T! I just got finished shoveling my driveway and my neighbor tells me it's going to snow 8 inches this Saturday. I told him he was full of it!! Hopefully, you'll be right again and there will be no snow in the Mid-Atlantic for a while.Keep up the good work!
Western Marylander here! In the early 1960s students abd teachers at Rt. 40 school were trapped from Friday to Monday! There were snow drifts as high as telephone poles! Retired Teacher here , Allegany County. I am a XC skier ! I would have definitely skied to get help! 🤔🤔😉😉🤣😂🤣😂🤣Garrett County is another world! ❄️❄️❄️❄️☃️❄️❄️❄️❄️
@billcastro5129 I beg to differ! How old are you buddy???? Baby Boomer here In the early 1960s, students and teachers at Rt. 40 Elementary school was snowed in on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! SNOW DRIFTS reached as high as tops of telephone poles! So yeah, we here in Maryland know what bad snow storms can bring. Also, in the early 1960s, a B- 52 bomber crashed in Garrett County not far from Grantsville, MD. There were 4 Air Force members on board .That bomber was carrying nuclear weapons. The pilot died upon impact, 2 died from exposure, and one man was rescued by local people! There was a book written about that accident B-52 Down / Google it ! The people in the area secured the crash site until the US Air Force and other military vehicles could arrive from Washington, DC ! Because that is what people in rural areas do to help! It's called COMMUNITY!
Thank you thank you for your amazing service❤
