- In this video, my pal @Railin10 and I are fishing in creeks that lead into Lake Michigan! We find literally thousands of fish, and we are lucky enough to tangle with a few of them!
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING! PLEASE LIKE, COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBE!!
Ty, you have the most epic adventures! Thanks for capturing it all on video!
Awesome catch! Nice to see you catch fish that are not in my area to see what it's about. I did land my first rainbow trout yesterday! Came out of a little pond but I guess they had stocked them at one point. Still waiting to see you and that big muskie!! That's one I have not hooked yet either. Always a great video!
Great vid, but when did you film it, 2022? There aren’t leaves on trees near Racine, WI yet this year😢
I never get tired of watching your videos thanks Ty. That’s one beautiful dinosaur
About 2 hrs southeast of me. Looks like a hell of a time. Thanks as always for sharing brother!! 👍🏾👊🏾✊🏾🙂💯
What a monster fish, but you should have invited Annette with you 😂😂😂 you would have gotten it quickly 👍
Ohhh you did invite Annette 👍
Wow what a fishing spot...great video
Wow that is so cool, amazing fishing, fun brother.
Living the dream. Your views and numbers are climbing as well. You definitely have the right formula for success.
Holy smokey salmon. Great video ty and company!!!
Awesome video! That was a huge king salmon! Great job fighting him he looked like a really hard fighter!
WOW 😮 them was monsters , so beautiful ❤️
Beautiful Fun~
Must remind you of your childhood in Nebraska when the Silver Carp ran......🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂😂 everyone would head to the creeks for the long awaited silver carp run
Ty what's going on man! Those were some big salmon you and your friend caught! In that small creek at that. Great episode man I loved it! Keep on getting down!
If you add up the length of all the fish I caught in the last two years, it just might equal the length of your monster catch! Thanks for sharing this exciting time!
Now there’s a man who really gets into his fishing. Been doing the same thing since the ‘80’s. I live an hour north of Racine. Those fish are SUPER STRONG, eh Ty?!
I've always said that hooking into a king salmon with 6lb test line, and a 8ft noodle rod is like taking your line and hooking it to the back bumper of a car and having them drive off as fast as they can.
Great video!!
Pretty accurate!
What a great net guy haaaaa Great job yall
Hey @TyPigPatrol , I've been watching your videos since under 50k subs and I just wanna say you do a great job man. Awesome to see you improve not only at fishing, but also at the video and editing portion too. Keep up the great work my brotha
Great fight awesome chase worth every second✌️
That fish was so Strong!!! I’m sure you had a blast with those!
Very impressive 🙂 I've grown soft-hearted in my old age, and often feel sorry for the poor embattled fish, lol
Me also. I'm 60 now and fished for 50yrs.
Wow that's big and beautiful
Born and raised in Wisconsin, I really miss that beautiful state. I'm sure you had a great time there fishing.
This video is amazing. Nice catch
Epic, fellas, absolutely epic
Crocks don't have much grip? Boy, do I have a story for you🤣 I really liked this video, that thing fought like a peacock except it didn't get tired! What a fight. Thanks for another great video Ty.
Wait I think your problem was that the crocs had TOO much grip right?! 😂😂
That’s awesome man👍🏿
Thank you!!
There is definitely no quit in a king, grew up chasing them in Western New York, great video hope to see some more from that trip
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 love it
They don’t quit. And you’re catching them at the end of their run. King indeed.
That is insane how big they are in such shallow water .would love to catch a kingy. Great video ty
Where i live, they man make tiny little.creeks that are barely 2 feet wide and 8 inches deep. That ia where they spawn...it is pretty wild. Water so small the fish doesnt even fully submerge at spots. And years ago, there would be as much salmom as water...not so much anymore.
Huge catch. Congrats.
Amazing ! Great video Ty!
I've watched you play some big fish over the last couple of years, but this was insane dude; epic battle! 😆
Thank you very much brother!!
Awesome, looks like fun for sure. I was curious about how old these fish were. Googled king salmon lake Michigan and I was amazed that the average lifespan was about 4 years, attaining weights of 15 to 30 lb. Might I suggest some 5mm neoprene Surf/dive booties for adventures like that. You can get some with a pretty decent sole that will last you and they're pretty cheap on the Amazon. They would fit in the suitcase. Probably come in handy in your kayak adventures where your stepping out into all kinds of crap all the time. Have a good day my friend
Nice post. Love smart info posts, D. Thx
But also u don’t watch this channel enough.
This dude will catch a fish in a puddle and get his feet wet.
Must be part of his 🎣religion
Personally, like the footwear choice.
Also, still good idea for me. Be there in a month, primarily for musky week.
But love good ideas
🤙have a good week boys…n girls
@@corkyvanderhaven3391 I've been watching this channel religiously for years. I love how he just gets in there and you hear his buddy say I don't have waiters so I'm not helping you, haha. And then the other guy rolls in with the net for his buddy but wasn't there the first time for ty. Pretty amusing. It can be freezing cold out and dude will sacrifice his sneakers all day for a fish. I love that about him. Just don't want to see the dude break an ankle on rocks like that because he chooses to wear crocs while stream crawling. I have been a surfer for a long time and I use that sort of footwear for Wade fishing and the like. Versatile piece of equipment and even if you fill them with water you still stay warm. Definitely much better footing than Crocs and better protection overall. I have been bit by crabs salt fishing and cut my foot on barnacles. Takes forever for that to heal because of the particular bacteria. Up to six weeks in my experiences and bad scars. I know when he does that gnarly cat and gar fishing in Texas there is god knows what in the water. Cheers to you and have a great day. Hope you bag a PB this year. Hope I do too, salt and fresh 😄
I didnt know they even lives in lake Michigan? Thought they lived in ocean then migrated to river to spawn?
@@rsktransport he said it in the video. I know from the other people I watch that they stocked the Great lakes with several species of trout years ago and they thrive there. I wasn't thinking about it, but salmon is a new one on me there as well. I suppose they were stocked also. Amazing what weird things you learn on fishing videos that you never thought about or thought you needed to know. I do love me some Google because I'm just so curious and it's great to settle arguments. At least the ones you know you're right on 😆😆 I told my mom, if they had Google when I was a kid I would have been a damn genius by the time I was 15, haha. Most curious child ever with a million questions. When I was a kid I had flashcards about animals and you had to get into the encyclopedia to learn about much of this stuff. Technology has been a damaging thing for humans, but it has also been an incredible learning tool
Wow m8 wow huuuuge 👍👏👏👏👏
If you're wearing Crocs walking across that you're a braver man than I am
🤪
Spirit !..of..the.. salmon..!.
Wow, when you hauled it out I thought it was a massive brownie. Those kings color up crazy when they spawn
Gorgeous fish! Love your adventures!
Right On
Awesome video
Racine is a long way from Texas, man… but I think you should Google the Sturgeon Excursion on the Rainy River in MN. 3-5 days of cold-weather river sturgeon fishing, some of them run up to 72”+. I know that’s no 16’ 7,000# Columbia River white 😉😏 (I know I totally exaggerated 😅) but it’s a whole different environment and species. I’d love to see you fish MN.
My state, nice catch
Fun!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice
What do you think first fish weighed? Great content as always ty
Crane or great blue heron?
Awesome video man.and that fish was bigger than the biggest fish that I catch in a year
Take me fishing with you lol!
Never seen an accidental wet foot session, hopefully good luck.
Be there in a month for musky at Okauchee for a week
THE PIG BACK ON PATROL
nice catch there :)
Fun video, beautiful beasts of a fish! Net man needs to be fired.
Thanks for this awesome video. I was born in Racine Wisconsin. Is this the root river or no?
Yes it is!
@@TyPigPatrol nice. I figured that. I use to fish there all the time.
Now I wanna go fishing
my dad passed away 20 years ago but I could still hear him hollering "Dont horse him" when watching you real him in.
CC will be in Dallas this week end!!!! Go Lady Hawks!!!!
Awesome fish, man! It was a blue heron not a crane. 🥰😃
Did you take the fish for a walk or did it take you for a walk?
💜🎣
Sweet action is right.
That will wake you up, budy!!!!!
You gotta get to Northern MI and fish the big rivers.
I enjoy your videos very much….that being said I must say I don’t know if you’re unaware but chasing spawning king salmon in a shallow creek is shameful, they are not only inedible but at the last stages of their cycle, they don’t care about anything but spawning, warn out already, after you fight them sooo long they will surely die after you’ve released them without a chance to spawn, not to mention walking all over the spawning beds kill future salmon, may I challenge you to try and learn about the earlier runs before they turn ? The fight is much more insane and one helluva challenge on heavy gear….. getting them to bite learning their habits is very difficult and well worth the effort, much more so than this, you’re better than this man.
Thanks for your concern, I understand it. However 99.9% of the Great Lakes salmon are born in a hatchery, these creeks are not adequate to fertilize salmon eggs. That being said I don’t know if I’ll do this type of fishing again. Thanks for watching!
@@TyPigPatrol they’ll spawn and succeed…you must try for fresh chrome salmon , you will dig the shit outa them
@@jasonmcgonigal8044 no, they won't successfully spawn. Not one single baby salmon will swim down the root river this spring unless released from a hatchery. The root river is a very muddy, polluted, slow flowing urban waterway. Not at all what is needed for salmon to successfully reproduce.
Beautiful location.
Hog...hog!
Were the king salmon released?
Salmon & trout fight so much better & longer than bass which I fish for in Oklahoma.
I've actually caught king salmon like that in lake Oahe up in Pierre south Dakota...
Hey Ty ! with that beard of yours it thinks you are a grizzly bear .
You owe it to yourself to go out in the lake and take one from deep water before the spawn. The one thing that will hit you right away is how immensely powerful they are. I have been out there with some stout rods and they will absolutely test your tackle.
How deep do you fish for them? Trolling or jigging?
Pretty sure that second fish is a coho. And it's a giant!
*THEY KEPT THEM' 🐟🐟🐟... NO RELEASE SHOTS*
*CATCH AND RELEASE IN THE FISH GREASE AND GRITS*
Keep the fishing content coming. 🎉🎉🎉
What type of fish are these?
King salmon
Bro your fish was just taking you for a walk, what a cool pet lmao
I thought it was pretty cool myself. I came in from walking my dog. And seen this amazing video. Look like he was walking his pet fish 😂
Do you clean them and cook then eat.?
Pollution levels high. One meal per month. None for kids and women of child bearing age.
The vids are not super long but they feel really long but there still good
Nice fish!, need to train your net man a bit better!. Spooking a fish at the net usually guarantees a lost fish!. 🤣
It's not a crane.. it's a great blue heron
they go up rivers to spawn or die.is why so many big old ones are seen and caught
There’s still 3 feet of snow and ice here brother, my casting hand is getting itchy 🤣
What pound test?
15!
dang...how come hes grabbing the rainbow but the gills.
Is it samen?
0:56 shoulda put the crocs in 4x4! 😅
Pretty chill little heron / crane...I was fishing from a canoe with a bud one time who doesnt really fish...he hooks a catfish and cant get it off the line...I told him to leave it in the water and I would deal with it once I was reeled in...he stupidly dangled it off the front...NOT in the water...and this giant blue heron, like...4 feet tall...lands right on the nose of the canoe and grabs his catfish that is still on the line and starts trying to attack my buddy to get it lol. Also...i am yelling at him, "cut the line man! But dont effing tip the canoe!" He literally almost got killed by being speared by a heron...I couldnt believe it. Oh...and to the idiots who say spawning salmon wont ever bite...shut up. You can literally watch them chase bait...I get them every year while rainbow fishing with lures.
Can’t believe ole dude wouldn’t help you out…
“I don’t have any waders!”….what a wuss 😂😂😂
Bro safety never takes a holiday , put those crocs into off road mode :)
Selamat malam kawan
Did you keep one?
King salmon is the best!
Because of pollution the recommended monthly consumption is one meal max. None if you are a woman of child bearing age or a child. Pcb's and mercury.
catching pokemons
What kind of fish
Should be "look at the great egret Bro".
At about 4:00 there is a fishing just as big sitting on the bottom.
Duuude, if you want to go to Ohio I can show you how to do the same thing but catching 3 to 5 foot muskies...... At a spillway below a damn..... There are also saugeye which are a walleye sauger hybrid..... Great for eating....
Honestly you can spend a month there between all the rivers and streams and lakes and ponds and there's nothing venomous to worry about you can walk around any body of water freely.... Rock bottom streams with Clear water....
Do you have an insta?
