God those drums are so damn difficult, even without double bass this song is a pain on drums. On top of that a standard RB drum kit can’t play as well as a stock GH kit in my opinion.

Derpferdler Damn, that sucks. I prefer the GH kit too. The rubber pads are SO much better than the crappy plastic on the RB kit.

Yes, heavily. Listen to their Hail to the King album. All of the songs on that album are obviously takes on their inspirations. It's VERY much Metallica, GnR, Megadeth & Iron Maiden.
