Thank you for staying on top of this. Even before all this came up I always wondered why Nore never had ANY of the members of the Terror Squad on Drink Champs even after the countless times he’s name-dropped Pun on the show and other interviews. I had a sneaking feeling as to why he wouldn’t invite Cuban but the supposed premise of his show is to give “flowers” to artist within the culture so I thought that mission statement would supplant any bias towards a guest in the name of “The Culture”. Then he platformed Kanye not once but twice and allowed him to spew that poison and Nore ultimately disingenuously apologized for. The fact is Nore, EFN, Joe and all their affiliated podcasters are NOT Journalists. There is no objectivity or journalistic standards and Nore needs to stop taking himself so seriously. Here’s the hard truth…Cuban…not Joe not Nore…was Pun’s true and lifelong friend. Had Pun been alive today there is a very high likelihood he would no longer be associated with Joe or Nore.

I don't respect NORE as a serious host in the podcast game. Also i see every now and then he'll talk slick about someone real quick try to hurry up and move on the conversation. That's straight foul and garbage tactics to keep your interview hot. It ain't even about Cuban Link or Fat Joe. Some of these episodes are NORE dancing around answers he didn't expect so he wants to take another shot to kill the awkwardness and we're not stupid because we see NORE ask questions that touch on certain matters so the interview can suddenly get "REAL" so u gotta be able to continue as a journalist and hear the REAL response and answers. So I guess we know why Fat Joe "Got HIs Flowers". Only Legends get flowers they say.
The show has changed so much since it first started. It used to really be about having legends on and giving them their flowers but now it seems like they just getting on a bunch of people man. I think people loved the rawness of the platform before then he went to revolt and it really feels like a production now. After that Kanye interview when he went on Hot97 and Breakfast club to apologize, he kept calling himself a journalist and there was no excuse for anything that he'd been doing it for 6 years but then I think he doubled back and now doesn't consider himself one.

The reality is that
1) Nore is not a journalist, he is no different that Wendy Williams with a gossip show. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but I just don't think he knows what Journalism is.
2) Nore is constantly saying that is is about the culture, but it is not... At this point, i think it is about rich people, drinking with rich people who like each other. Nothing wrong with that, let's just call it what it is.
How can Joe be part of the culture, if the original TS rap group (not the street crew) were the ones that really put Joe on the map? Before that, he was one of those rappers that could go and not be missed. I certainly would not have noticed, I knew about him, but his music did not stand out in any way shape or form.
Ultimately, you're stopping a man and his family from eating... I mean, after Cuba and Joe did "Why Me?", Cuban was completely erased from the NY rap scene... No more Angie Martinez, no more Funk Flex, no more nothing. Cuba is a a very talented man, neither Joe nor Nore could hold a candle to him lyrically, not even close.
I will say that Cuba should've moved on with his life 20 years ago... but move on to what? He is a rapper, in NY... options are limited. However, I do understand that he could've done much more with his name than be a constant blemish on Joes career... but i get it, it would be very hard to let go of something like that. He worked very hard to be as good as he is and now you're telling him that all his work is irrelevant because Joe says it is? That's a tough pill to swallow.

As I said, I truly don't think he knows what "journalism" means.
Personally, I consume his podcast, as I consume your content, probably more than I should, but it is ENTERTAINMENT, that is all.
Generally, as a society, we are taking too much liberty with this whole "subjective language" thing. Where one person can say "well, TO ME this is journalism" and it goes unchecked. We have word definitions for a reason and if we are going to use the language we all have agreed upon, then we should adhere to those definitions.
One cannot simply wake up one day and say "I identify as a journalist" and suddenly you're regarded as such.
But let's allow the proposition for one minute that he is a "journalist": He just lost all his credibility as such, because he admittedly has a stake on the story, he has a side he has picked and cannot be legitimately objective, which is the job of a journalist.
Personally, I think he should be considered a entertainer and he would probably do himself a favor by applying that label to himself.
