They may have extremely similar colors as Beetles, but as a hard core Beetles customer (200+ colors), they are the only brand to my knowledge that does not use 9 carcinogenic ingredients. I absolutely love Beetles for that! Especially as a person who has to be mindful of those types of ingredients due to family history of various cancers. **No shade towards other brands**
@@JoJoNailedItbeetles is not HEMA free. Also, hema isn’t anymore dangerous than any other methacrylate is when used by a professional. any nail ingredient can be hazardous when used by non professionals
What is HEMA? I'll read about it. I'm a 21 year breast cancer survivor. All the polish colors are exactly what I like. ☺️💅❤️ If a product is HEMA free. It will be labeled HEMA free.💅
@@orianjuarez3074not super educated about it but from what I’ve seen, HEMA can cause nasty allergic reactions and is in part responsible for gel allergies that some people develop over time from exposure and skin contact with gel. These allergies include painful skin peeling and blisters and in extreme cases partial loss of the nail. It takes a long time for the blisters to heal. It’s best to not use polishes with HEMA to limit your contact with possible harmful chemicals. It does help with formulation and in small amounts has been deemed acceptable by the FDA. That being said the FDA is more of a labeling authority than an agency dedicated to protecting consumer wellbeing so 🤣🤷🏻♀️
Oh Evie, after my toddler being sick off and on for the last week, it’s so nice to know that she’s feeling better, and that I get to finally watch your video to decompress as she finally naps peacefully!
The best take away from this is learning I can use dollar tree items like mod podge and a glass frame to create nail designs so that my left and right hands match using the stuff I have at home. Thank you for that.
You're looking quite beautiful today, Evie. I love the bigger/fluffier hair and your top. This seems to be a good starter gel polish kit. I loved tweety, too, and had all kinds of tweety gear. The concept of that kit is pretty neat. I love the set, and I think you did a great job. 💜
I love your hair in this video! I miss the lives, but I understand it is a lot of work. Just happy that we’re back to getting at least one video a week!
I just clicked on your video randomly and I am giggling at the “this is the intro to the Long Hair Pretty Nails Show”. It has me just playing it on repeat hahahaha! Anyway you are so beautiful and poised and I love your voice, thanks and have a lovely day! 😊 💅❤
Evie hope this helps with making Tweety you can actually use clear gel polish as well which helps it blend with the polish on your nails better! But you need it to be thickish thin I know that sounds crazy but you want it to be thick enough to easily pick up but not overly thick either! Also use tweezers to pick it up once your done and you put it on your nail use a silicone tool to spread it out!! Once it starts to pull up rather than pull on it to peel it off go around it nice and way gently peel it off you want get as many ripples! The modge podge works well to it’s up to you honestly you can even use UV resin!! The clear base is just to give you a base to paint your character on as well as a way to lift it up! Don’t give up though it will smooth out and get better! You will enjoy it a lot!! Hope that helps PS you can do the same with your stamping plates put down a clear coat on a silicone mat stamp your imagine on to it color as you wish peek it up and apply it works the same kind of! Good luck Stay Safe Be Blessed have fun! 🌻🌻🌻
Love your videos as always... I think for the stencils, think of it as a glass painting and work backwards. The details first then the background. I saw someone say to use clear gel polish instead and I agree, since the page is laminated, you should still be able to pick up the sticker still. Then place the decal backwards onto your nail. I hope I'm explaining it right 😫.. I like to use this method when I'm doing decals myself. I print out a small version of the picture, cover with tape, then trace!! 🩷🩷
I always love you videos. I like that you show your growing pains and that makes you relatable. I think a shorter brush would allow you to have more control. Good job per usual!
I clicked on your video because you inspired me to stop spending money on things that I could do myself and I am excited to learn how to do my own nails, so thank you so much for taking your time and teaching us how to do our own nails I love the way you talk so soft and smooth .❤
I was having a rough week and I was so excited to see you had a new video. I find your videos insanely satisfying to watch and very relaxing. Thank you! For everything you do.
Oh how I love Tweety. I was a big Tweety fan growing up. When I saw your IG post I lit up and came straight to watch this video! I swear you never disappoint!
I would suggest getting the micro detailer brush from Young Nails. It's way way smaller than that brush you are using. Also, I would start with the outline and then build color on top of everything that way you can use the image face up and the flattest surface of your image would be facing up. Maybe that will help. you can use acrylic paint if need be, that way it's opaque. Great first try!
I love this set!!!! I’m going to buy it soon and I learned that if the textured polishes with glitters in them start to look chunky, all you need to do is warm the bottle by shaking or body heat!!! It really works and I’ve noticed the difference in my swatches and polishes that I was going to throw away!!!
Do all the main details first then cover the backside with main color. Kind of like those videos you see where people make the cartoon pancakes etc, then they flip them over and the image is on the bottom. Hope that makes sense. Awesome job! Excited to see more of these ❤
I absolutely love Kiss Glue Off. However, I have a hard time finding it so when I do I buy at least two. Ingredients also say a few different oils so it keeps your skin from drying out.
I think Tweety looks great!! I love the abstract also! You did an amazing job, especially for your first time. Don’t be so hard on yourself. I love your content and your work!❤❤
A few months back I got a cheap kit from Amazon, same price but the polishes were a bit smaller and it came with the big UV light and some other accessories minus the swatches and have started doing my own nails and have saved so much money and had a lot of fun
I love your videos and while watching you paint, I said...This is exactly why I have a lighted magnifier glass on a gooseneck clamped to my nail desk. Even with my reading glasses on, I have difficulties seeing. Getting old isn't all that fun...lol Love you and your videos!
10:08 Z049 would look so good with denim on! Oh n there u go just said looks like denim. It really does. Will look perfect with a denim outfit n everyday wear. Especially if you wear a lot of jeans 👖
This is the 3rd time I have watched this video. I watch on tv, on my iPad and on my phone. You did great for a first time. You are very brave to do this online. I was wondering if you had any nail pens for drawing. I always loved Tweetie Bird too. You did a great job. I’m proud of you. I love watching your videos every day. I really love the swatches and the variety of things you do on your show. I like to call it, “The Evie Show”, because you are always true to yourself. Thank you for your patience and kindness and personality. I love your channel.👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💖💕
I love what you did for Tweetie. You are talented. I would like to try but I am having a hard time finding the art book you used. I enjoy your videos so very much
I luv beautpal gel polishes...this was the first brand of polish i bought on my nail journey a couple years back, but it was the pink nude gels. I really need to buy some more
First, I’m lovin the outfit and hair 🥰. Second, I thought the first Tweety Bird was just fine. Third, your nails looked amazing. That book is going to come in handy. I always look forward to your videos! 🥰❤️
I really enjoy watching your videos. I do my own nails and have learned a lot from you. I bought 3 of your Patty Gels and LOVE them. Have you seen videos from Shuninails? She doesn't speak. I think she may be from a different country. She has subtitles to explain what she is doing. She does lots of fancy bling on her nails so I thought of you and how you like to do designs from other content creators. Just a thought... God bless you, Marcus and the fam.
The pink glitter reminds me of apink Friday which was LE OPi color. There was another pink glitter in the beatles Christmas one but not sure of it was similar.
I love these but nothing compares to your sparkle mixes. I hope you make more products in the future, maybe even dip powders with your custom sparkles. ♥️🦄
The colors you swatched were beautiful. I also think you’re being way too hard on yourself your first and second Tweety Bird was just fine. I also think you will get even better as you practice. I think they turned out really cute. ❤❤
You should use dotting tools for your dots. Also, if you do the outline first then the color. when you pull it up , it should be nice and flat and outlined on the otherside/reverside of your sticker
That was fun :) thank you! I find with the cheapies the thicker it is, the worse it performs once its cured, like wrinkling and peeling. I personally would prefer thinner deep shades in inexpensive gels. I wish these were available on the Canadian Amazon! Love you swatch parties! Thank you!
Evie PS you can do this same thing reverse stamping with you Clear Jelly Stamper! Put you main color black for instance on the image drag your card over it pick it up paint the character whatever colors you like when fine go over the image with some clear gel polish cure it then stamp the image on your nail you may have to put down a thin layer of top or base coat before you stamp to give it something to adhere to but once you stamp it down smooth it out or blend the edges however you like cure top coat done! There really is so much you can do with stamping I love to layer stamping over foils so pretty!
Omg thank you, you will definitely get better ❤️ I appreciate your support 😊 this is amazing Woot woot 🎉
Thank you! This book has definitely helped a lot.
It’s been a minute, I’m looking forward to unwinding and watching our girl do her thing.
Same here🙋🏽♀️
Me too!!
Same 🍷
You look gorgeous!! And don’t apologize for those babies that’s their home ❤❤

I just recently purchased some gel polishes from this brand and I love that they came with swatch sticks! Every gel polish set should come with them!!

I love your lil giggles in between swatches it's so cute!
The nails on your left hand at the start of the video are beautiful! Shape, color, length everything!!!
Tweety was really cute tho! You did your best. I'm excited about your second attempt with the higher class gels
Evie, I love it when you do these swatches and you do both sides of the swatch’s sticks.
I think this is a great beginner kit. It seems like it's a decent quality for someone learning and those colors are nice.

Heyy eve I've been dying to see you try tru dip powders I would love to see you do a design with them.❤❤

I actually like BeautPal thanks for the honest review on them.
This would be a great set to buy esp if just starting to do your own nails, It’s not expensive and has a good variation of shades
You could try using acrylic paint, like they do with the one stroke painting.
I think you should use a shorter, pointier liner brush, that way you have more control.

Those were some nice polishes. I love that book and your Tweety was fine. Tyfs 💙 🦋
Those blues remind me of the gel kits you switched that had a color palatte per city
You should use dotting tools for your dots. Also, if you do the outline first then the color. when you pull it up , it should be nice and flat and outlined on the otherside/reverside of your sticker

Yeah I got 2 beetles collections, coffee something and charmed I think they're called but great formulas and the matte top coat is really good btw
omg i didn't know you used and support nailz by dev ❤ i just got myself a bunch of her stuff!!! just thought that was cool 😎
Wonder if those tiny point acrylic paint pens would be easier? 🤔
I loved the outcome of the nails… would def love to see more. Go head Evie you got it!!!
I use my thinest dotting tool to help me get good lines. It feels more pen like.

if you get a tinier brush it’ll be much easier to paint since you’ll have more control
This set came out so Pretty, BTW, Loving your Hair 👩🏽👌👍
I am so excited for this. I was going to buy this last year but wasn't sure.
oh my gosh she has taught me so much about how to do my nails
I’m here to say your hair looks gorgeous!
I like hearing the kids having fun in the background. Snow day ! Awesome
You're hair is absolutely gorgeous 😍❤
Ow wow girl you looking gorgeous today!
You should do a yellow set with some nail art. I would love to see how it looks on you. Bc I think it's beautiful with your complexion
Evie, you’re absolutely under arrest for coming on here all drop dead gorgeous today. Sheesh girlie! Thank you for another great video, as always ♥️
I wonder if you can use base coat instead of mod podge 🤔
I think for the amount of gels you get, the price point is perfect! You pay more for bigger bottles. The gels are amazing!
Whatt I didn’t know you guys were in TN too 😅 this snow needs to GO!
The nail design is cute.
I paint in watecolor and doubt I could've done better. You did it and you'll just get even more better each time. Love to see you do Betty Boop.
