I am a very big fan of Steven Wilson (I saw him in concert a few days earlier in France)... but very disappointed to see him go play in Israel. Would he have gone to play for the Afrikaners of Johannesburg in the days of apartheid ? I fear it. Because he, who has just composed the beautiful "Refuge", must know that the Palestinians in Gaza (including 141 civilians were shot dead and 9970 others wounded by live ammunition from the Israeli army between March and August 2018 ) are refugees on their own land. But that does not seem to bother him to sing for their executioners. For me, this does not question the very high quality of the musician. But I prefer not to say what I think of the character ...

I'm sure that many israelis are very compassionate and thoughtful people, especially the ones listening to this. Don't let the insane government cast a shadow on those people. I wouldn't judge every american on their insane president and reprehensible politics.

I suppose SW shouldnt have an Israeli partner either? But he has which is why he spends so much time there

GiLGES i wonder if you really have a full understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The facts are usually distorted, depends on who is covering the story.
