Well, Idk if this is true, but I heard Angel Dust sold his soul to Valentino, So Val technically owns him.
Plus, he is just a sinner and Val and Vox are overlords with a lot of connections. Even if he kills Val, someone from his loyal goons will hunt him down.

I really do like this au because it makes angel dust character so interesting in this version. He doesn’t have any memories before the incident and was basically trained to be assassin by vox and doesn’t remember Charlie and vaggie and this world is pretty interesting how Vox and the other overlords seem to rule the city with the iron fist and anybody who opposes them gets killed or worse tortured
He is like a Marvel character now.

I saw a comment saying how angel forgot Charlie and them after his “upgrades” and how he didn’t use them to defeat Valentino. What if during his upgrades, he forgot how Valentino treated him, and ever since, has been working under Vox more instead of him
