It could've turned out a whole other way if Linda and Shannon had decided to sell all things pertaining to Bruce after Bruce and Brandon's death. At that point, all Bruce memorabilia and mementos would be spread out throughout the world and be in many hands. What I'm still holding a grudge against is Linda's approval of the production of Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. That was a money grab at the expense of Bruce's legacy and not a very accurate account of Bruce's life. I'm still pissed at the ridiculous fight scenes and events in that movie. Bruce deserved much better.

I could be wrong but I have yet to hear anyone of Bruce's family say anything negative about the way Linda and Shannon have handled Bruce's items. I'm certain there's still much of Bruce's personal items which Linda and Shannon are in possession of.which are worth plenty. If I'm correct there are also plenty memorabilia in various Bruce Lee museums.

I just wince in pain when I think of why didn’t more people film Bruce with super 8 film. The stills are incredible but his moves are unbelievable. Thank you for the new pictures once again showing this mans incredible physique. He was a slim Hercules. I think one of the man aspects of why he was so effective against any opponent was his physical development. Not like everybody else’s which they developed using the same weight lifting techniques which develope big outer muscles but Bruce had developed his inner muscles as well.

for those that dont know, Wong Shun Leung was a bad motherfucker, nicknamed the "King of Talking Hands" for his street fighting prowess. He was Bruce Lee's longtime Mentor and friend in WingChun. They trained Wing Chun until the the day Bruce passed away.
I'm sure I speak for many of us when I say I thought I had seen every clip and pic of lee only to see these new clips that I've not seen before. Hopefully more bits and bobs get restored.
The film clips in this are taken from the well known golden harvest documentary "Bruce Lee The Man the Legend" 1973. You must have thst on dvd surely? HKLs put it out and do did universe laser and joy sales dvd in HK. If you haven't sent it you must. Really great nostalgic documentary consisting of rare footage that was obviously easy to grab after thst time but disappeared years later. So thank God for thst documentary. The Game Of Death clips in it are special because the whole dunning was done by Bruce in 72 for his 25 min teaser reel which he put together for investors. It has Bruce's own war cries and he even dubs Kareem and Ji Han Jae if you listen carefully.
You know what makes Bruce Lee really the best??? That he was a 10-lb weakling who reached superhero status and motivated many underdogs that with hard work you can attain great things!!! : )
Hi Joey, Can you please go into a little detail on what took place. I take it Bruce was using you for blocking out the fights so he was able to work out the camera angles. I guess you were a little nervous in the roll, but you exhibit great flexibility in the footage . Would be great to hear in your own words what was going through your head at the time. This was a screen test for Wong Shun Leung, for a part in Game of Death, which never eventuated due to Bruce's untimely death. WSL was going to play a Wing Chun master guarding one of the levels of the pagoda. Wan Kam Leung was also being tested for a future project.
Were these two trying to imitate Bruce. If so, they show how difficult it is to look as sharp as Bruce did while being nonchalant. No one looked as good as bruce did beating up the bad guys . INCREDIBLE STYLE.
This is a nice find to add to the ongoing legacy. Bruce was good at using his resources. Filming rehearsals to get a sense of how far he could take the fights goes back to his days of taping workouts with Jabbar in his backyard during his Oakland days. His body fat though was alarmingly low.

Heard that as well. Many people went off radar. Almost as interesting as the Dr. Peter Wu and Dr. Don Langford who were never interviewed by the press but were the very ones who saved Lee's life May 10th of 73 , knew what he was doing, and warned him to stop it.
I'm more amazed at Bruce's body more than anything else. What was he eating? What was his workout regimen? I know there's still plenty of unreleased footage of Bruce Lee out there. I just don't understand why They're being held up for so long. I feel like I'm dreaming just watching this footage. It came as a surprise.
He worked out every day like an Olympian, and more. Eight hours at least a day; and then he studied and thought about martial arts. He probably dreamed about training. Many of his students and friends said that he over-trained. Sometimes, when he was with someone like Joe Lewis they worked out the whole day into the late evening. When he watched old boxing films with his students, they would zone out after multiple viewings, and he would then replay them. When watching boxing on tv, etc. he would say what the boxers would do next. Multiple witnesses said that "Bruce was the strongest, fastest man I've ever met.' There may be someone who can kick or punch, etc. as fast, but no one person can do it all like he could. This the opinion of James DeMile, who actually knew Bruce, and "I tried really to knock him out, because he was always embarassing us in demos. But we could never touch him." Note their friendship soured, yet sifu DeMile has integrity and recounts what he actually witnessed. A lesser man would say, "Ah, that Bruce was no good."

24 seconds into the video you see a black and white picture of Bruce Lee you could tell that he's sweating heavily and the edges have his hair is wet that was an early sign that that was missed that Bruce Lee was not in good health

Wait. That was Wu Nan, his personal assistant, shirtless towards the end stumbling around ? That man was in the background, foreground, and mid field in every picture taken on set with Lee, often standing there taking notes or looking bored with an unlit cigarette in the corner of his mouth. Bruce put his house on Cumberland road under that man's name so the public would not find out where he lived.

@@helperboy5020 Yes, That was Wu Nan alright. Bruce's...Butler. Yes, Lee had a butler. Alfred to his Batman. He was present in all the films. He was one of the waiters and held the airbag in "Way of the Dragon" when Lee kicked him across the alley into the box pile.

I've never seen anyone do martial arts like Bruce Lee. Not even to this day.

I'm more amazed at Bruce's body more than anything else. What was he eating? What was his workout regimen?
I know there's still plenty of unreleased footage of Bruce Lee out there. I just don't understand why They're being held up for so long. I feel like I'm dreaming just watching this footage. It came as a surprise.
He worked out every day like an Olympian, and more. Eight hours at least a day; and then he studied and thought about martial arts. He probably dreamed about training. Many of his students and friends said that he over-trained. Sometimes, when he was with someone like Joe Lewis they worked out the whole day into the late evening. When he watched old boxing films with his students, they would zone out after multiple viewings, and he would then replay them. When watching boxing on tv, etc. he would say what the boxers would do next.
Multiple witnesses said that "Bruce was the strongest, fastest man I've ever met.'
There may be someone who can kick or punch, etc. as fast, but no one person can do it all like he could. This the opinion of James DeMile, who actually knew Bruce, and "I tried really to knock him out, because he was always embarassing us in demos. But we could never touch him." Note their friendship soured, yet sifu DeMile has integrity and recounts what he actually witnessed. A lesser man would say, "Ah, that Bruce was no good."
