13:18 hi- I really love you video. I keep over watering my pencil cactus - I’m trying to root it from cuttings I ordered, but I’ve lost several. What is the brand of pot you are using in the video?

      Hi! Thank you for watching!
      Here are some tips:
      How to Propagate Pencil Cactus
Step 1: Cut the stem (or stems) from the parent plant in late spring to early summer.
Step 2: Let the Cut End Dry
Step 3: Plant the Dried Stem
Once the cut end has dried, the stem is ready to be planted in a new pot.
      Step 4: Water it lightly,
      Step 5: Monitor and Care

What’s the season now? If it’s winter, just a little bit water is better for plants.

      Hi Zion,
      Thank you for watching!
Yes, great point. 👍 Plants do not need as much water during cold seasons as they do during Spring/Summer when they are actively growing. 🌱

jeese the sap is not that bad and easy to propogate - cut, let callous in newspaper and stick it in soil.

Their toxicity is highly overrated. I have had a bunch of these, I cut them all the time, get the milk all over my hands and never had a problem. I imagine it would be a problem if you're allergic to it, or if you allow your babies and pets to eat your houseplants.

You are slowly kixxing your plant that's why it's losing its leaves and getting all stringy and weird. I'm sorry to say this but no direct sunlight for a succulent from Africa is just a ☠️ sentence.
