This is a GREAT song! Don't know who produced it but I'm guessing maybe Ron Nevison....sounds like his drum sound for sure. If you listen to Heart songs from the mid 80's and Bad English, or Damn Yankees...the drums sounds exactly like this.

If only the stabilizers made atleast one more album after tyranny. Unfortunate they got overlooked and for lost in the sands of time. Their melodies very good, in the vein of Outfield and Cutting Crew. This song is more AOR rock style rather their New Wave style pop.

I would put this group in the category of Cutting Crew and Mr. Mister. Solid mid late 80’s group. Good song!
1986 to 1987 the best music ever was made with all the the upbeat college music and adult contemporary music made during that time.

Stablizers were criminally underrated. If they'd not had such a bad run of timing and luck, they could have been the best pop band of the era IMO.
