Started my journey with DaVinci like 2 weeks ago, on my laptop, in the Hall of Residence. As the academic year ended, and i came back home, i wanted to keep working on my project on my high(ish)-end PC, but found trying to send everything i used in the project, well, hard. And now, with this i'll just head onto editing, yet again. Thanks bunch.
well maybe it's just the 7 months of final cut pro talking, but....... I just decided to try Davinci a week ago, and so far this media management just seems way more organized in final cut. Would be nice if Davinci had a move everything in to the project as you import it, wether it's right from the start, or a 5 second clip you decided to add right at the end.
great tutorial. I make my assets consolidated to another HD and I have chosen relink because I still want to be able to open it in Project Manager. Now, how can I find and delete the files which were being used before?

Helpful. They really should give an option to just move any item you import into media pool into the project folder. This way it's more portable.
true. Well workaround is make an archive timeline where u just drag all
