Lol. It’s hilarious fans judging the Quarterbacks in this game. The Quarterback’s had no chance. The offensive line was straight garbage. They had no chance at all to put anything on tape to evaluate, the Quarterback play. I believe both of these Quarterbacks could be good, if they actually have time to set and throw. You want to blame someone. Blame that offensive line, and their coach Justin Frye. Also you can’t establish a run game, when our running backs are getting hit 4 yards in the backfield all night long.

The team has deteriorateed into a second tier outfit. We need a new attitude, new identity, new coaching.

A second-string, injury-prone, QB who got injured, a 3rd-string quarterback who never played a meaningful snap except for garbage time, and an RG who was playing center because the actual center was having snapping issues(?) That center never even played a down and was the reason the O-Line had no idea what was going on. He was secretly suspended, but the so-called experts said it was bc he had snapping problems. Something I never saw during the 2023 season. Maybe I'm blind, but I didn't see the snapping issues. Mizzou, a formidable SEC team teed off on OSU! I totally blame Ryan Day for this fiasco that only led to a 14-3 defeat. OSU actually led 3-0 until part of the way into the 4th-quarter.

The fact that a walk-on RB at Missouri impacted the game with 128 yards of tough, hard-nosed, smash-mouth football, because their coach was persistent to stick to the run game, while the #1 RB in college football, TreVeyon Henderson DOES NOT go over 100 yards (19 carries, 72 yards) because HC Ryan Day ABANDONED the run like he always does, ought to tell Buckeye fans that Ryan Day is not the best coach for Ohio State. The sooner they FIRE him, the better. The Buckeyes had a chance in the 2nd quarter up 3-0 and driving for another score to take complete control of this game on the ground, but Ryan Day opted to throw a double-reverse pass. Ryan Day wants to throw the ball when the Buckeyes needed to be establish the run, especially with the QB Devin Brown's first start and a freshman QB tonight. With Missouri blitzing Keinholz every down, why didnt Ohio State's OL slide protect or move the pocket, sprint pass, roll out, etc. to give the kid a chance to look downfield, set up to throw, and go through his progressions? Ryan Day's ****ed up situational play-calling absolutely stinks! AND the fact that Missouri was able to run the ball effectively, setting up their passing game, eventually wearing down Ohio State's defense which COULD NOT STOP the run in the 2nd half, because Ryan Day does not commit to establishing the run and keeping the defense fresh, ought to tell Buckeye fans that it is time to move on from Ryan Day. The sooner, the better! WHAT good does it do to get top recruits at Ohio State and not utilize them properly? Plus, HC Ryan Day had over a month to prepare this football team, the OL looked pathetic and he got COMPLETELY out-coached in the 2nd half!

The Buckeyes don't pipeline defensive players into the NFL for no reason. BUT give Missou's coaching staff credit, though they were out-manned athletically per player, as has been the case with Ryan Day, the Buckeyes top HS recruiting talent amassed on the roster is getting out-coached in big games. NFL bound WR Marvin Harrison, Jr. and transfer starting QB Kyle McChord didn't even play!

It was a huge deal and it was fantastic.
Compare that to the Cotton Bowl last night. Star players gone and it was a terrible game to watch. It’s so sad how far the bowl season has fallen. The new situation is great for the players but it’s terrible for the fans. I guess we no longer matter.

Game was completely meaningless and ruined by the current state of college football. The transfer portal, NIL, the current CFP, and the opting out of playing in meaningless bowl games have rendered all but 4 games (soon to be 12) irrelevant. NEWS FLASH!!!! THAT WAS NOT OSU OUT THERE ON OFFENSE. Half your offense is NOT on the field (much of it NFL talent). Your QB was in High school last year and was either backed up to the goal or running for his life OR BOTH. Your offense was OSU’s JV vs Mizzou’s varsity. And you lost by only 11 points. Your D was amazing and held them to 14 points. I know it was ugly and you wanted to win, but this game has all the meaning of an exhibition game.

Ohio St. still had 11 five stars and 63 four stars on the field compared to Mizzou’s 3 five stars and 20 four stars. A good coaching staff rotates players and develop 2nd and 3rd strings during the season. OSU’s coaches failed to use one month of practice time to prepare their available players for the game. They also failed to produce meaningful schemes. It was very apparent to me that OSU had superior talent at most every position, but Mizzou had the better team.

Once again absolute facts are proven! Get Ohio State out of the Big 10 (2) and they are just an average team! I love seeing the arrogance that Woody Hayes established at OSU get a dose of reality! The Big 10 is a joke when you are talking the National Champion and top 5 teams in College Football. For 40 years Ohio State and Michigan breeze through a sorry Big 10 schedule , and then face reality, playoff teams with bigger, stronger, faster players than OSU or Michigan played against ALL YEAR! Want proof? Ohio States record against the SEC all time is now 2 wins 16 loses! So much for the fantasy of college footballs greatest power house!!! I also remember USC and Stanford running the "mighty" Buckeyes out of Rose Bowls. Woody's boys! More proof. When has a Big 10 team besides OSU or Michigan won a National Title?? Answer--- 1962 (53 years ago!) the Minnesota Gophers! What does that tell you about the Big 10????? Firing the coach won't change anythng. What OSU needs is to get A COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL SCHEDULE, and then go 12-0 and be ready to play EQUAL competition in the playoffs. OSU next game is AKRON ZIPS! WOW, think they will lose?? SEC,SEC,SEC! Go Tide beat Michigan! Bruce L. Llewellyn

Ohio State was missing 3 key players, 1 was because the head coach, and fan base threw him under the bus,1 was because the head coach held him out because he gave a.
