i would say the weigth restriction would hurt you in football teams, i doubt they have an all heavy weigth wrestling team.
Love wrestling and the sport but I’m not sure of any wrestlers who have played football at penn state…..maybe I’m wrong. In a tiny town I get it

Makes me long for my youth. Everything is pure, simple, but not easy.
Two losses to the same team in the same season by one score each time has to be a gut wrenching way to lose the streak.

It's where I grew up. It's a great place. We used to bird hunt those fields during 4th 5th hour when they were Milo and wheat stubble.

When WingT is run right you can see good results. Watched wingt teams knock out top spread teams in the state. Definitely less flashy but it works with the right system

I'm from the area from a Wichita suburb, and every Andale athlete is absolutely insane at their sport. I knew what high school the video was going to be about before even clicking on the video. Absolutely crazy.

F-ing Andale. Played for an area school where Andale was in our district. My school got a new head coach and finally became competitive, but Andale would typically end our post season.
They have had a strong program for a long ass time

They lost the following week, Lost to the same team again a month or so later (playoffs). Close games both. Looks like both streaks are over. Still very impressive.

My one regret is not changing my families city life. Wish I moved out to a farm in another state and ran it before having kids. Living away from cities is how we should all live. Cities are the cesspool of America.

Been to Andale for pole vault camp last year during the summer they have so many pole vault pits state of the art gym. If I could choose to go to school here I would.

Very similar to my high school Southern Columbia in Pennsylvania. Small farming community school, the winningest football program in the state and head coach one win shy of 500. 14 State championships and now 7 in a row. Strong disciplined. ESPN had us go to South Carolina to play Hammond high school a few years ago in the opener and won 36-0. This would be a better matchup both schools so similar. Hopefully one day

Really awesome video. I was surprised by the lack of size on the line when I thought of “farm strong” in my head. But it actually makes sense they would be lean from all the manual labor. Would be curious to see how they would have done against my NJ state champion team that averaged over 250 lbs on the d line. I was a tailback and linebacker/db/overhang player and I probably have 10 lbs on 66
Well they didn’t end up winning Kansas state they actually ended up losing the week after the game against collegiate to Cheney and then lost to them again a month later. Andale from like 2021 was super hefty tho
Being from Kansas and having a team who has played multiple undefeated teams pretty sure we’ve played Andale is the reason football in Kansas is scary
2022-2023 Derby would have killed Andale. In 2021 Derby JV beat andale 42-6. We didn't even play Dylan, Sam, or Myles. The only reason Derby didn't win state that year in 6a was because Derby's QB broke his Fibula and Shattered his foot. In Sub State vs Manhattan, the backup QB ruptured his kidney and Dylan sprained his ankle. The reffing crew was also banned from reffing in playoff games from then on, as they had 17 penalties for 165 yards against Derby, and 2 penalties for 15 yards against Manhattan. Manhattan had beaten Derby by 3 in double OT in the first game of the year, but Derby was at the 17 and was lined up to kick it, but the kicker had had surgery on his knee only 2 days before the game.

Wing T in high school football is low key the most underrated formation with the right personnel
na bruh there’s a reason teams don’t run that shit no more cause it doesn’t work only against shit teams and shit coaches who can’t adapt to it
@@jomama5935 nah I’ve seen multiple teams win state championships with that formation. However the highest division I saw that was division 3. Nothing higher at least in Michigan. Wing T against the bigger schools like Detroit country day or Muskegon will probably not work well since they have more discipline secondary and a solid D line.

They play non district 4A teams and destroy them by 50 points.... look up their past. They have been dominating for a long time. Even when they WERE 4A. Definitely have a good program going on.

Not being a hater, this happened to my hometown. We have the most state high school wrestling titles in the nation Perry Oklahoma. They made a documentary about our town "Price of Legacy" talking about how we have not gone more than 2 years without winning a state title. Since the documentary came out.... the program is at the lowest it has ever been. They have not won a state title now since 2019, and it does not look like there is a state championship in sight.... It has nothing to do with the documentary but damn it is tough to see a program like that go down so fast. I see Andale had lost 2 games this season. That is not a sign of things to come but a town that small it only takes a couple players a couple key positions and loss of confidence to go from undefeated to loosing a few games a season.
I live in small town in Missouri that used to be a 1A powerhouse. We're now 8 man, haven't been past the quarterfinals in 11 years and so many boys would rather play other sports that we might've already seen the last season of football.
They lost to the same team twice by one touchdown.... first game in overtime. Both were really exciting games!!

Sadly they did lose this year, twice to Cheney, which Cheney went on to win state, my team is the same size as this team is we are 3A Kansas, and somehow seems to have better practice equipment like sleds than they do, which we have one state once back in 1970

All the talent in the area goes to this school. We had a team like this in AZ hamilton high. Once the kids started going to the other schools like chandler, basha, perry, and Mountain point hamilton started to lose a lot.

You just can't beat country boys, love every bit of that. You have to get out of the cities to develop powerful athletes. It is something about the solitude and peace of mind that gives you a purpose when you train and practice.

They're good until they play a 6a school like Derby. 2 years ago in a JV game, Derby JV won 42-6. Andale was playing 2 seniors in that JV game. They also lost to Cheyenne twice this year.
