It's amazing to see the underground malls, MRT stations, and to learn about its history. This was also a nice walk to escape from the rain a bit. Thank you for sharing this extensive underground shopping experience, AK! 🤗

Toronto has an extensive underground mall known as The Path, from Union Station to the Eaton's Centre. Which passes by 4 TTC Subway Stations. Union Station the MAIN METRO STATION, and heading north under Yonge St to the King Station, Queen Station, and Dundas Station. Which is the Eaton's Centre, the Eaton's Centre is actually a huge mall with over 300 stores and services. The mall contains 2 TTC Subway Stations, Queen, and Dundas stations.
So nice, I have a feeling it's safer to be here during earth quake than anywhere, because nothing is shaking horizontally down here and since everything is built in steel frames, you're pretty much in a safe bunker, except for the miscellaneous things that will fall and drop, the chambers around are super safe.
I wonder how you do not fall into temptation and buy everything haha, I would have to go with millions of dollars and 2 stomachs, because I would buy and eat everything I see hahaha omg the games part, I'll stay and live there .
I'm glad to see its as electronics/otaku focused as ever.

Glad you enjoyed it! It’s such a massive complex of underground passageways!
Beimen (北門) was MY station the last time visited Taiwan in 2023 because the boarding house i stayed at was in Beimen Station's territory.
Taipei City Underground Mall is so massive. When I was there, it almost felt like a maze.🤣🤣
It can certainly feel like a maze
The ActionKid enjoying some shopping while on a layover between Trains 🚆. Almost any item one needs or wants can be found in the underground 🚇. 🐼

Very good point!
In fact, in documentaries it is said that these large areas and shopping malls in Asian cities are designed to contain as a refuge from catastrophes.

How are the prices of the merchandise that you are passing?
It depends on the stores and stalls but I find them to be generally fair.
