How can anybody not like this guy? He is extraordinarily funny, intelligent & seems like a genuinely good hearted individual. I wish you an abundance of blessings & continued success Trevor. ✌🏽🙏🏽✌🏽
Tiny McPoop really? You can't see anything more subtle in the way he approaches topics? I sure can! Have you watched much of his material? I feel there's a real graciousness that often shines through...
I LOVE what Trevor said about how "Hard work and success go hand-in-hand." And I LOVED the part where he said most people work hard on things that they are not good at. So important to really work HARD on the things you are both passionate about and talented at. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
@@oakstrong1 Everybody has gifts and talents. They may not be yet realized or brought out but believe, they are there. They're usually the things we do so often, even daily, that we don't view them as talents. We just see it as "oh, that's just who I am and what I do."
I agree with Keesha!! : - ) No one is born super-talented. Sometimes you'll start out terrible at something and then slowly, over years and years of practice, become one of the greatest at it. It' all about pursuing those things you feel a gravitation to and just practicing them until you eventually become really talented. I do firmly believe that everyone has gifts like Keesha said.
Trevor Noah and Stephen Colbert are so important to the US. Probably more than they realize. I believe that a sizeable amount of people from other countries watch these two as their first access point into the political situation of the US. Well, I do, a good friend of mine does, and there are definitely more out there. The world is watching.
You are entitled to your opinion. I personally believe that they are different, but both are talented in their own unique ways. You don't always have to dislike one person to uplift the other.

Thumbs up to a guy with fantastic comedic timing, combined with the ability to use voice and antics to imitate practically everyone. That in itself reinforces his comedic appeal. Yet, I have seen him interview a range of people that in my opinion would normally intimidate some of the most experienced of talk show hosts. Still, he puts those people at ease to express themselves without rancor or qualms, in spite of allowing that he may have a different opinion, in a lighthearted comedic way. Totally enlightening and at the same time entertaining.
Kerry Sammy I also find Trevor’s interviewing skills to be very very impressive. Especially for his age and interviewing experiences. He respects, listens to and meanwhile entertains his interviewees regardless of their backgrounds.
@Gay Bottom Pride Clearly you don't know him, cause he is far more talent than John Stewart in my opnion. But it's ok, i'm sure you already have many concepts about a lot of things in your mind, knowing him won't change your view at all.
Bilal C We don’t get The Daily Show in Malaysia. I found Trevor Noah from on of his stand-ups and I’ve followed him since. I don’t doubt Jon Stewart was great too.
*Whatever your political views are - This man's a pure gem..* He always have great opinions of things, always have nice perspectives, he talks about his childhood in South Africa genuinely & always states that he respects his mother because she's what made him what he is now!!
"In 1992 Noah's mother Patricia Nombuyiselo was married to Ngisaveni Abel Shingange, and they had two sons together, Andrew and Isaac. Trevor and his mother were both physically abused by Shingange, and the couple legally divorced in 1996.[64] In 2009, after she married Sfiso Khoza, Shingange shot her in the leg and through the back of the head; she survived as the bullet went through the base of her head, avoiding the spinal cord, brain, and all major nerves and blood vessels, then exiting with minor damage to her nostril. When Noah confronted him over the phone about the shooting, Shingange threatened his life, prompting Noah to leave Johannesburg for Los Angeles.[26][65][66] In 2011, Shingange was convicted of attempted murder, and sentenced the following year to three years of correctional supervision." Wow.
Trevor is one of the people that makes me believe that where i come from dosen't neccesarily define my future. Yes i will be a great person and give back to my community and change the story of my community into a greater one
And just seeing Trevor and David Kibuka sitting next to each other during the Daily Show meetings makes me even more proud, two of our South African boys, who kept us laughing here home doing it on the bigger stage. And for David, from appearing on the Pure Monate Show in the early 2000s to Producing The Daily Show with your mate being the host, priceless. Hard Work really breeds success.Feel very proud to be South African.
Well done, Trevor! Very proud of you, man! Saw you rising through the ranks with your Cell C ad and look where are you now! Proud South African here. Keep up the good work.
As a Cameroonian (West African), I'm glad that Trevor has helped educate Americans on their ignorance of certain issues in Africa. I currently live in Johannesburg where Trevor grew up and I'm able to personally relate to a lot of his jokes. Keep flying high Trev and God bless
I first saw his show back in 2010, and simply starting to love him back then… and at the time I was thinking what if Jon Stewart invited him to the daily show as a guest, that will be awesome… and it happened and it was golddd… when rumors started that Jon will be retired from Daily Show, I don’t know how, I started imagine Trevor hosting the show… and it happened! LOL…

I´m very proud of this gentleman I have been watching his videos for a while, when I started learning english in South Africa I laughed a lot with your jokes (Born a crime , You laugh but it´s true and others)... congrats Trevor you make me proud to be an African
I just read his autobiography, "Born a Crime". What an amazing book. I am so impressed by where he came from and who he has become. Fascinating. Touching. Surprising. And it gave me a much deeper insight into African life, especially from a black African perspective.
„I work hard on what I am good at and love doing. So most days don’t feel like work, most challenges don’t feel like obstacles and most successes feel like a reward for doing what I am meant to do.“
What he said about success and hard work really stood out to me. Most of us work hard at what we aren’t good at and struggle to achieve success which makes it feel like work. Focusing on what you are great at and making it better means you never work a day in your life again.
I knew Trevor was funny.. But as a person he really lives his life with no regret.. Wonderful human being.. Wish him best of luck in an his future endeavors.. Hope more situations come in his life where he gets to touch lives of huge number of people.. A shining person.. Thank you sir for your service 🙏🏽

I think "Respect" is a better word for this. Hats off to you, Trevor Noah. I really hope I get to have a conversation with you some day.
I love this young man because he is fearless in his mindset .he is willing to have the conversations that you may only have behind closed doors . The way he speaks and owbs what he says is beautiful to hear. He has the conversations that make your spine itch in way you know you can never scratch or fibd relief from. I was concerned at first that not being born here, Trevor may not be able to reflect the "American Experience" accurately. I am happy to admit my error, apartheid is the perfect training ground to comment on the Trump regime and crime family...
Agree. But please, for you as long as you live, never refer to apartheid as "a perfect training ground". I freaking LOVE Trevor Noah! Honest, intelligent, so funny and incredibly hard working! And I mean... it doesn't hurt that he is super good looking and is blessed with a glorious behind. 😍
Trevor Noah has gained my respect. I still miss John Stewart because he is an amazingly smart and funny American that could capture exactly what we (liberals) think and distill it into something funny. Trevor Noah is incredibly smart and definitely the best choice to replace Stewart at the time, but I still miss the American liberal comedian perspective that John Stewart represented. Ironically the closest we get these days is John Oliver (and to a lesser extent Stephen Colbert).
Leggo My Ego I think they were looking for a larger global audience. Trevor and his team represent a globalized world better. John Stewart was brilliant.
Why do I get the distinct feeling that by "liberal American" you're actually referring (granted, probably unconsciously) to middle-aged white liberals? Younger liberals and liberal POC love Trevor Noah and feel like he captures our perspective beautifully. It's cool, you stay in your middle-aged white bubble with John Oliver and Steven Colbert, and we'll be over here enjoying a more diverse perspective with Trevor Noah.
