Of all the DIY blackout window covers, yours is the best. Simple and to the point. I just wanted a custom-fit reflector shade or sun blocker for my car, and someone recommended Reflectix. I bought a giant roll enough for all the windows in my vehicle for $44 from Lowes. Then, after shopping, I relax at the house to find your video before I start to make my first cut. Thank you. You are awesome!
The reflectix can just be cut approximate, then put into window area and use tip of finger to trace around. It will leave a groove you can cut around. It works well and is faster.
Did you ever do it? We really can! I have an old Tahoe, I just took the seats out and vacuumed. Blank space! Gonna try and find the silver paper stuff and to this tomorrow!
Of course you can, were women. I am in the middle of prepping for my first car camping trip with my mutt. love Sarah's setup definitely copying some of her ideas. Go Sarah.
Simplest and prettiest no-build ever! Love it! I also love how you protect your identity! Your vids are great and very informative even without dialouge.
We made these exact ones for our 2015 Prius. We sleep in the back. We love it because we just get up & go! We just never light candles in it. We have cool solar lanterns that we use.
Nice video. I watched another how to video and used spray adhesive to put fabric on my reflectix. What a mess! I do like the idea of hiding the silver reflectix. I would suggest making the pieces larger than window so you can jam them in place. If they are exact fit they will fall down/out. I might have to use Velcro as an additional holding mechanism. There has to be a cheaper way to do this with better results. I'm halfway to painting the windows.
I have seen so many people do black out windows. You by far have done it the best. recently found your channel and am going back to watch your previous postings.
you should get some black felt material to put on the window side of the reflective. that way the windows will just look tinted and not windows with silver shades. it will be much more stealth
Did you keep your back seats or have them taken out. I'm debating on at least one out and using the other as a place to sit while having a bed on the other side. Love the simple set up
I have bought large boxes like That at both TjMaxx and Dollar General stores. You can get some great things at dollar general to decorate your car with.
I don't think that's very stealthy using super shiny reflective material facing the outside, that makes it look super obvious than someone sleeping in there you should definitely cover it with black poster board or something to give it the look of window tint
How long did they stay up for before they crimple and fall down? or how many uses or nights sleep in the car did you get before they started to fall down off the windows?
the best thing is nobody talks! Just do and the wonderful music! Best! What a difference to all the other loud and stressy videos! Danke!

Nice to see a video without someone blabbing the whole time!
honestly, you never lied. I struggled to get good advice because I have to navigate through so much dialog!
I love how cozy you've turned your space into!

You have a very nice set-up
I would put black duct tape on them so that they would blacken out the windows and wouldn’t look so suspish
Another brilliant video. Thank you! 🇦🇺🙏🙌🥰
Wow cool was wondering if I can place a black piece of material first so it looks like the winda tinting
I've been trying to find a way to cover my windows on my Van. Urs is the Best one. Thank You

Where did you get your mattresses? And is that black square solar thing a light?
Did you keep your back seats or have them taken out. I'm debating on at least one out and using the other as a place to sit while having a bed on the other side. Love the simple set up

uaooo
i was looking for this video tks a lot God bless you .
Thank you for this video Sara! Do you cut the reflectix the exact size or a little bit bigger so it stays in place as it covers the window?
It looks like the exact size I think?
Wow, cool ride. Let me know if you need a roommate.
is there more info on ventilation or airflow ?
Thank you for your videos. ❤️
Hello Sarah where did you get window cover?
Can I ask where you got that material?
well-videographed
Perfecto
Love it 😍 👍
Did you get rid of your backseats?
Did you use the black out on the front windshield?
Very cosy :D
Are the lights solar or what are they running off?
Hi This is a lights that is charged with sunlight and used. I bought this at ikea.😀
I am making mine out of black pillow cases. The silver limning is a dead giveaway that someone is in the car camping.
👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
The candle cute but way to risky
you are so wonderful
and I would not have a latern burning in my car. Isn't safe.

Reflectix breaks down and will no longer fit in about 6 months of daily use.
Copied from youtuber 😂
Thank you sara wonderful video, you just have a new subscriber, from Savannah Georgia, manny 🫶🫶🫶

Cut this cover slightly larger(quarter inch) than the window size. You put it in the gap, the cover won't fall down.
