I own both xiaomi mi 11 lite 5g 780g/775g, with th miui 14 I believe they will still be better eve compared to the 13 lite + used the memory extension the mi 11g are at 11gb ram with no slow downs. Xiaomi mi11 lite 780g 5g, 11gb,128gb + 512 gb, more then enough even when ga ming.

@@mini4dailytech982 Memory extension is just a memory swap which is using very slow internal storage and it might help in theory, but in practice it will slow down your phone more than it helps it, just like on PC or a Mac. It will keep more apps open so I guess that's a bonus.
the thing i don't understand; why can't phone manufacturers have 120hz AND 90hz refresh rates to choose. i've used 120hz screens for awhile now, and only a very few times i'd opt to 60hz refresh. 90hz is acceptable when trying to save a bit of battery, and phone feels smooth enough.

It's optical. No xiaomi phones use ultrasonic fingerprints sensors yet. The snapdragon 7 gen 1 is using TSMC manufacturing process. The main sensor is the imx766 from Sony
I wish I knew what logic is behind Xiaomi's decision to use a 5mp macro camera that has autofocus on the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which when using a properly tuned gcam port is actually not that bad, and then go back to using 2mp fixed focus macros. Fuck, it would cost them less than a dollar per phone to upgrade them at the volume they use them.
I wondered about this too. The macro on the Note 10 Pro is actually really good. You can get shots that are better than flagship phones that use the ultra wide for macro. It's a shame that they're putting this 2MP macro camera in models that are significantly more expensive than Note 10 Pro was.
That's why I cant let go of my Redmi Note 10 Pro. One big reason is because of the macro camera. Very good for it's price point. I use it all the time.
Internally It's the same phone as last year's Nokia G21. It is a bit easier to repair as less parts are glued down and parts are available to buy from ifixit website. Performance is okay, enough for browsing and social media. Camera was mediocre in G21 and I don't expect G22 to be better. Android 12 update was delayed so much for g21, in several markets it is still not released. (No idea when they'll release A13) There were Bluetooth connection issues that Nokia just couldn't resolve. Only thing good about the phone was the battery life.
My provider doesn't have 13 lite in portfolio but regular 13 cost exactly same as S23+, Ultra is just shy below S23Ultra, not quite sure how that will work, think most people will rather take S23 series phone then 13. Have Xiaomi 11, time for new phone and I think I'll go for S23+, my biggest disappointment is MiUi, nothing from MiUi features available on Chinese market, got mz MiUi 14 update, but it bring nothing new to my 11.

The xiaomi 13 lite is a serious downgrade even compared to the xiaomi mi11 lite 5g NE, downgrades: camera, speakers, sd storage, android os no change, miui os about the same, body, price, the chipset is about the same compared to the 780g chipset with I own too.
I would never buy a phone with a 2mp camera, it tells you a lot about what kind of Company xiaomi is and what they focus on. the smart consumer would rather have a better ultawide camera or even a better dual speaker system, all of these options are available trough Samsung and Google phones

I use Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, but in 13 Lite there are no stereo speakers,not much of a camera upgrade or not even battery life. I think I will stick to 11 Lite 5g NE for another year and see what the 14 Lite Brings BY THE WAY I LOVE THE LITE SERIES OF XIAOMI

Hey the 13 lite is too expensive for what you get and especially for what you don't get no stereo speakers I've got good stereo speakers on my redmi note 10 Pro and that was over a hundred euros cheaper
Screen is smaller but upgraded curved OLED, Speakers are downgraded with lower sound output score and only 1 speaker, battery is smaller with lower durability, Charging though is way upgraded, Camera is better.... but if we keep analysing the Specs, it will look like an half full glass.... 😢

You would wish the cheapest model is the best value but it is the one that is not appealing with such a budget in mind. Eventually this phone will likely be quite cheap, but only one speaker will suck forever, but it's not important for every buyer. For me though, these days quality speakers are a must.
First: Selphie island is clear copy of iphone - its not pretty and most of the android users will not like it. Second: Xiaomi started to raise prices on each new model. Their newest models costs the same money as analog Apple and Samsung devices. This is clear strategy mistake. Only Huawei so far achieved same prices as the "golden duo", but they was having own hardware. When Xiaomi start to produce their own screen, cpu or cameras maybe they could try higher prices too. But without their own hardware innovations its not right to keep the cost of the product so high.
