I just flew Auckland to Vancouver last week on Air Canada and the difference in service is astounding. Air Canada does not even compare to the level of inflight service. If I had known better I would have booked with Air New Zealand. Will book Air NZ next time 😊
Thank you for watching! I agree, free WIFI is a must and certainly elevates the inflight experience quite a bit. Perhaps NZ can be your next destination :)
@@shameelkumar8332 To my surprise it was fairly good actually. I could send texts and photos on WhatsApp, listen to Spotify music, and watch UA-cam videos as well. I didn’t attempt any games or Netflix style service. Though small games or apps such as duolingo should not be a problem. It did take 5-10 seconds for a 5 minute video to load such that it could be played but overall it was still pleasing to use.
@@vyomps That's pretty good indeed! Thanks for that info. We're flying AirNZ with 3 kids in a few months. Knowing some games and UA-cam is possible is a.m.a.z.i.n.g!
Have crossed the Pacific Ocean 7 times since 2013.. mostly with Air New Zealand.. never had an issue, always enjoyed the flights... already booked again in August. Normally they have a self-service area overnight with Water , OJ, Soda's, Chips , Pringles ,etc.. i find that odd ..!
Hello, I just subscribed to your channel I love aviation as well. I'm just wondering does your flight NZ24 have free wifi and if you can give a tutorial or steps for accessing the wifi as I'm also going to be flying from Auckland to Vancouver on NZ24. Thank You!!
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed my video. Yes, just connect to the WIFI as normal and follow the prompts. There is also a tutorial available via the IFE.

I’m doing the same thing in March flying from Halifax to Vancouver and over to auckland
Love your videos keep up the hard work
The flight looks comfortable and food is great! But more importantly? Free wifi! It's a MUST on flights this long, when was this? 😀

What sort of things could you do using WiFi? I imagine bandwidth is limited.
Play some basic games on your phone? UA-cam?

Very nice !
You can order food and drink from the inflight entertainment and they will bring it to you
Not on my flight sadly :(
The IFE option to do so was “closed”
There were only 2 services?
You know you’re from Fiji when you’re downing two glasses of wine and wearing the holy thread on your wrist 😂❤🇫🇯
Only two services :(
Taking ANZ 24 & 23 soon. Wondering where sunrise occurred northbound? Hawaii?
It actually occurred a little before Hawaii! But the electronic window shares were locked until after we passed Hawaii.
Thank you for watching :)
My flight got cancelled - what should I do now 😧😧😧
