That's why I would never own a dog unless I had a lot of land.

@@johnglue1744 you don't need a lot of land to let your dog live a free life... you just need to stop being a muppet and let the dog run free beside you
Your dog needs a bed. 🤷♂️
Yes this is not oke for the dog ,constantly on the cold floor and the owner a warm bed, not friendly
Hello my friend! The inside of the tent was hot and I lit the stove for 4 days without a break. The dog never felt cold and was very happy. it was my first experience of tent and stove. So I thought the mat would not be needed for the dog. But it would be better if I took a mat for the Dog.
@@WargehBushcraft Your dog is very cute😘🐕 he's a good companion, and he' is also loyal, he watches you, and follows everywhere you go🙂 Yes, he does need a mat and a towel to dry his body and feet from the snow so his mat will not get wet. He also needs to eat well so his hair will grow and help him stay warm. But you can put his food from the cans or bottle into plastic Ziploc bags, so they will not be so heavy when you carry in your back pack. You did a good job of setting up your tent camp for being your 1st experience, you just need a light for inside your tent so you can relax and read camping books😂 GOD bless and protect you and your beautiful dog.
Which dog is happier, the one who gets to go on outdoor adventures with a heated tent, or those who belong to someone who sits at home and is stuck in a house all day ( but has a fancy dog bed)? My bet is the former, not the latter.
@@abbydyer5054 Absolutely!!!! Acir LOVES every single moment of time in the bush with his buddy. As for being fed? I guess people did not really watch the video because I saw him fed in his red bowl 3 times in the video plus tons of snacks, including a whole steak! Never seen him whine or cry ONCE, other than barking at the coyotes and I have watched EVERY single video for the past year! Keep up the great work @Wargeh.
What is so amazing is that you only use dead trees and not live ones. You also cook and not take prepackaged foods. You teach how to make a fire using whatever you have available and not matches like weekend warriors. You also show how to seal all your shelters well for maximum warmth. I also saw how to strip the trees of the bark and utilized the soil to make a filler between the wood. It gives a real experience of how to shelter ones self when out in the elements. You take your time in building your shelters so that every piece of wood fits as uniformly as possible. And the best part is the relationship you have with your best friend who is a real comedian. I watch your videos over and over again because I get a sense of peace as if I am there with you. Thank you for your videos and teaching how to survive in the wild.

I miss winter camping. I grew up in northern Minnesota on the farm. The winters were absolutely brutal! Shelter and warmth were my number one priority. Food and water of course. A bow saw and hatchett were my best friend. I can still remember how much time spent cutting all that wood. I would sometimes spend a good week camping. In a blizzard, the snow would pile up a good foot and a half a times. Had to have snow shoes of course. After a blizzard, more than anything, I LOVED how quiet it would get. You felt like you were the only person in the world. There's nothing like it! I would hike out a good 10 miles or so. Winter camping is definitely one of those do or die situations. My mom would always worry about me when I would do so. But I had a wonderful dad who brought me up from day one on how to survive the extremes. Some people here in Colorado freak out on how cold it gets, but they have no idea. I can still remember that 50 to 60 below 0 windchill!
I remember that kind of cold too but none of those memories would make me long to camp in a blizzard.
I clicked on this to understand the motivation and you had the best explanation.

When camping with my dog, a fox terrier, admittedly camper trailer based, when cooking, I always cooked for him as well.
Whatever I ate, he ate as well.
No matter if it was rump streak, bacon & eggs, pancakes, porridge, pork chops etc,
if it was good enough for me, 'Twas good enough for him.
Also, he was deaf from birth.
Didn't matter to me, I still talked to him.
I loved him very much and I know he loved me.
I also had a cat that would go bush with me and never left my side for other than a few minutes.
I notice you don't appear to talk to your dog.
If this is so, you are missing out on renewing your bonds with him.
My dogs & cats would sleep on / in my bed, depending on the weather of course.
We renewed our bonds several times a day, me stroking and talking WITH them, never TO them.

Good luck with your camping. !

Back when I was a young boy in the late 1950's I would go elk hunting with my dad out of Ukiah, Oregon. Almost always we would set up his old WWII Army tent after dark, by truck lights. Most often it would be snowing. We had an old pot belly stove he left at the spot year round as it was too heavy to move from the truck to the tent and then back to the pickup truck when we left. Usually there were some additional bullet holes in the stove than there was the year previous.
Around midnight if all went well we would have the tent set up. Dad lined the bottom with a couple bales of straw for warmth. Once the stove was fired up and the chill was driven out, I would slip down into that warm sleeping bag and minutes later be sound asleep. Yet the moment prior to going to sleep ... listening to the fire cracking in the stove ... and all being peaceful inside that tent: It was one of my most cherished memories as it is still today at near age 75. Nothing like a warm sleeping bag with the smell of straw to give one a nature high!
Now getting up to go hunting the next morning? That was the HARDEST thing to do, because the fire in the stove would be out and usually we would be well below freezing outside. Inside the tent wasn't much better. Getting out of that warm sleeping bag and doing our duties before heading out before daybreak to be on our stands ... THAT was NOT fun.
Yet at daybreak when the shooting started ... all was forgotten. Now the adrenlin was running high ... waiting for that bull elk to appear.
thanks for sharing your story. i could picture it
Wonderful story. I have memories of my Dad, hunting, camping. I hope I never forget them. Iam 68, Dad passed in 15’. Couldn’t ask for a better Father figure.

Elk hunting, especially East of the Cascades always cold as heck, we often hunted in the Imnaha area between Wallowa and Hell's Canyon
Wow! You can really tell a story! I pictured it all as I was reading about your memories. I could imagine being in that tent. Cherish them forever.

This is a good video and I enjoyed watching, but it would have been 1,000% better if he would have talked and explain what he was doing to keep his Camp going and why he was doing certain things. You can learn by watching what he is trying to do however what is in the back of his mind and why he is figuring out his situation. I love how he took his dog along with him, it is so nice to have your best friend with you on a camping trips.
i love watching all your videos, they are absolutely awesome, with a faithful and loyal dog with you makes your adventures exquisite and wonderful... love it!!!! take care and god bless you.
Thank you very much!

Peaceful and tranquil times with your dog and no other aggravating humans. Watching from Florida USA, great video
Thank you very much!
Awwww the dog brought a stick lol. Your dog is beautiful!!
every dog does that and every dog is beautiful.
I love how your dog grabbed a stick and moved it as if to help lol, mine does this too when we go camping. Except she wants to play fetch
I like such an atmosphere. I love life on land sometimes. I am watching you from Algeria.
Why hasn't the Dog got a bed ?????
Hello my friend! The inside of the tent was hot and I lit the stove for 4 days without a break. The dog never felt cold and was very happy. it was my first experience of tent and stove. So I thought the mat would not be needed for the dog. But it would be better if I took a mat for the Dog.
@@WargehBushcraft we had a doberman who would dive into a sleeping bag with their favorite humans. My Grandparent slept with a large dog in his bed to help keep him warm when he was a little boy in Europe.
Please note:Mallinois K9s at the front often guard the soldiers by draping themselves on the soldiers.
A Mallinois' style is never cramped when they sleep next to their favorite human.
dogs sleep on the floor as they are a pack animal not a human
@@WargehBushcraft yea a big mat and a blanket for the dog that will be awesome. thankYou
@@WargehBushcraft Please do that next time. You have a wonderful dog!
I'll have to say I'm no fan of the silent movie format but that's just me. Nice video, beautiful dog, and cool setup. Thumbs up.
Nature has its own music. Appreciate it.
