To explain the liga mx. The final was the final for a play in because the top 6 make it to the quarter finals and the 7th place team plays the 8th place team and the winner of that one witch was San Luis played Monterrey and then the 9th and 10th placed teams play. The loser of that one is done for the year and then the winner of the 9th vs 10th faces the loser of 7th vs 8th that being the Leon vs Santos final you saw Leon won 3-2 punching there ticket to the quarters while santos went home for the year. Its confusing i know but as a Mexican i have to support my league hope you understand.
FotMob messed up that Argentine table. There were two groups of 14 from which the top four of each group qualified for those playoffs. For some reason, Futbin just combined both groups into one table

It's more difficult to hit the ball straight overhead (Cristiano, Zlatan, Bale) rather than to do sideways , kind of scissors kick (Garnacho, Rooney). Because it's more difficult to choose the right time to kick and give the ball speed, power. With sideways kick you need less power, cause the cross comes with some drive. And your legs don't have to come right over your head. If you compare the goals based on technical difficulty it should be Zlatan's (you know why😏> Cristiano's (Carvaljal's cross was not driven, just high) > Bale's (Marcelo's cross was perfect) > Garnacho'> Rooney's.
Is it just me or is Bale’s bicycle kick far greater than Ronaldo’s? I know both were world class but Bale was in the final, in the top corner and the cross was quicker into the box so less time to perform.
I think they missed their best chance, that year Lampard was manager and they had Wilson and Mount on loan. Cracking team. They can still do it, but it will be a Nott Forest situation where they wait for years and finally everything clicks. Crossing my fingers for you!
Villa deserved nothing from that game its annoying, cash is just a horrific player, their first goal came from a fk which was a dive, gil got elbowed in the head in the box and no pen given and konsa clearly handles it like Rodri did vs Everton a while back and no pen given. Anyways great video once again❤
