Old red sandstone was assumed to be mainly laid down up to 419 million years ago from land based lake deposits of mountain erosion. It is therefore said to have no fossil remains as there was no freshwater life at the time. There are some red sandstone deposits that do have fossils, but that was because they were laid down from marine deposits. In that time, land has risen and fallen numerous times as well, and the sea level has risen and fallen. The cut stones look like someone has cut away into the sandstone for the base of a house, or an old church maybe, given that those rocks would have definitely at least been a pagan sacred site. They liked to build churches next to or put crosses on top of old pagan or fairy sites, so who knows.

Cool place. It looks like something you find in a fish aquarium. It looks lik those hose were under water. I think the caves go back further than we can see in some places. The miles of hand made walls and giant oak trees. That would would have been a great place to live. Megalithic blocks! How wonderful! Paul will love this. There's more than meets the eye here. I think humans have been on Earth a lot longer than they think. We are finding all kinds of things that conflict with what we are told.
