I go with Sophie because she's very much like Alice Kramden from New York and adds humour to her serious side. Audrey Meadows was great as Jackie Gleason's wife.
When the show was originally airing in America, I favored Sophie, but now I notice she had some serious accent issues and might not have been the right choice to play a girl from Kansas...
I agree, when the show was airing i loved both Sophie and Danielle (Sophie a bit more cos we're both Welsh) but i knew in my heart Danielle was better for the role.
@calloia567 the three people who played them here, are not the same as in the show, when I went in August 2011, and neither one of the tin man understudies, as i know the first understudy for the tin man
Lauren is so pretty and very talented but she just looked too old to be Dorothy. 22 playing a 12 year old? She was better off not getting it though as she got parts she was much better suited to, in better productions and is doing extremely well as she deserves to be. So well done to her!
The interaction that Danielle had with the trio was so natural, it was both sympathetic and humourous.

I think sophie won this round in the competition. She did so great with the lion and her notes and diction were wonderful.
