I got tested today and it was positive for covid, I am so scared and my family definitely didn’t help. But seeing this as the first comment really made me feel better. I’m starting with this yoga flow tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I've got ME and fibromyalgia too. Honestly Adrienne has been such a saviour. 2 years of yoga and the amount of good it's done is a blessing. Yoga, sunlight and good nutrition should be the first things you're prescribed for autoimmune disorders. Not pain killers, surgery and sleeping pills

Used to wake up and follow Adriene every morning for months. Then I fell off for months more. Got my positive COVID results a day ago. Time to check back in and start the day off feeling my best again.
Got quite sick and today was supposed to be a weightlifting day. I'm finding it difficult to get out of bed, but I did end up doing this sequence and I feel much better. I can always count on Adriene to do that 🥰
Doing this today on Day 4 of Covid. First day I feel like I can do anything besides moving from the bed, to the couch, then back to the bed again! Adriene, who knew when you posted this in 2014 that you would be supporting so many people during a pandemic!! Forever grateful for you.
Okay so I just need to take a moment to appreciate just how amazing Adriene really is. Today I was feeling achy and fatigued but I've set myself a goal of doing a Yoga with Adriene video every day. I made myself a playlist of all my favourite practices I keep returning to but today I knew I needed something different. I type in Yoga with Adriene for fatigue and find this video. And boy was it just what I needed! Adriene really has a video for every occasion. And today I'm really grateful for everything she does for us and this community. Not only is she hella motivating, but she's also gentle and acknowledges that our bodies are different and that we're all at different points in our journey. I can't tell you how many times I've been so grateful for her giving alternative postures in a video or telling us to be kind to ourselves because all bodies are different. On top of that, she's always so fun and goofy and following her videos gives me a space to express my inner child and just have fun, which is so important! Thank you Adriene for being the best teacher. Love to you and to this amazing yoga community you've created!

I haven’t been sick in over 5 years. Have somehow avoided Covid, colds, flu, etc. -always chalked it up to my daily YWA! Whelp something got me; been testing negative for Covid but I’m on day 5 of some crud, so this practice was very needed. Felt inspired to Om three times at the end when Adriene invited us to a mantra. The vibrations helped clear my sinuses a bit and now I feel clear enough to mask up and venture to the store for some soup and juice. Loved seeing baby-faced Adriene in the OG house for this practice. ❤🙏 🕉️
I finally got covid for the first time and am no longer Novid. This has been really helpful. One thing I would suggest before your videos to make it smoother for us while we're practicing , si to suggest what materials we might need before we start like aromatherapy oil, a block, and blanket or pillow. I found I had to keep stopping and gathering materials and sometimes in your other videos too. It would be helpful. But I love you and I do your yoga 6 days a week!

It doesn't take much for me to go to the dark side when I don't feel well. The slightest sign of a cold and I am lying on the couch feeling sorry for myself. This time I told myself to get out of bed and move my body, I feel much more positive and calmer after this video. Thank you
I have been sleeping for 2 days non stop due to cold, as if I was in coma. My back and knees were so stiff. Now this practice made me feel better. Thank you!
currently have covid, and woke up sicker than ever today. it's easy to fall into negative, pessimistic, worried thoughts about my health. but this video helped me find some grounding and solace, and gave me a space to just be at peace. plus, physically felt great! relived a lot of congestion and swelling. breathing easier. will be returning here tomorrow, thank you :)

Doing this in December 2024, sick as a dog. I did it last time I was sick too, in 2023. Historically, Yoga with Adriene has gotten me through some pretty tough times. But when I am down and under the weather, it feels like a warm, safe hug. Such a comfort when I need it most. I laughed (hey-o), I cried, I smiled. I felt better. Thank you, Adriene. You have no idea what you have done for a stranger like me.
Now that I'm a Yoga Camper ;) I find I simply love having an "I" statement to accompany each practice. For this video: "I am healing. I am well!" oh yeah yoga is medecine, so much than doctors tend not to believe I have fibromyalgia when testing my move range and wavy way of moving. I have quit antidepressant since I practice 1 hour per day and today I just felt like an old dog on a cold rainy day. After yoga I feel more like an old dog bathing in sunshine. :) Thank you for all you give to us, magical yoga is in the air!

Dear sweet Adriene 60 year old registered nurse here doing this video after being diagnosed with Covid. This is three years after the pandemic started and with all the precautions and masking coming back from a trip my husband and I succumbed to the virus. I finally got to the end of weeks of stress and tension, to the day before my Christmas break - and tested positive for Covid. I now have to isolate through Christmas, and this little video helped me stretch my sad, achy body and process my emotions (which I find really hard). Thank you Adriene x

I know you made this video over 10 years ago, but it is still sooooo helpful today. I got a really nasty cold RIGHT before my finals, and have been bedridden for nearly 2 days. I have been so frustrated and upset, that I burst into tears in the middle of this practice. I didn't realize that I was holding so much emotional tension alongside my physical illness. Thank you for this practice and all the work you still do for people all over the world! Now that I've re centered, I can find a small bit of energy to keep studying (since I have no other choice). I have strep throat right now, and though I'm thankfully on antibiotics now, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. My throat felt like it was being torn to shreds every time I swallowed, and I had so much phlegm (I almost choked multiple times) that I had to swallow every minute or so. I did not drink except to swallow ibuprofen - and by the way, even a double dose of that didn't really help. The doctor took one look down my throat and went 'Good God!' For everyone watching: feel better
I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and got sick, so got a bit sad about not being able to practice some birth prep exercises that I switched to from doing yoga with Adriene every morning and that's when I though about Adriene and her awesome videos again. It's incredible how I always find exactly what I need in Adriene's wide 'portfolio' and this pregnancy-friendly video just proves it once again 🙏 Thank you Adriene for all you do, all the love and the wisdom you share and for simply being who you are! ❤

I've been trying to do a round of your 30 days yoga. I can't seem to make it a straight 30 days without getting sick or having terrible period pain but you always have a video for everything so I can keep doing yoga even when I feel crappy. Thank you! ❤

I just returned from 2 weeks in Africa, 8 days on a horseback safari, 34 hours of travel to get home with just 2 hours of sleep folded in, and my body was asking me to BOTH slow down and rest AND to open up and be fluid. Love this practice. Spent the last week terribly sick, and stuck in the fetal position. Simply sitting straight up was painful, and then I remembered you have a plethora of yoga for healing. This helps so much. I’ve had COVID for the past two weeks and it feels so good to finally be able to move gently again. I couldn’t believe how shaky I was during the forward fold and downward dog; those usually are my restorative poses and today they were stretching me to-and a little beyond-my appropriate limits. So grateful for the reminder to find grace where I am.
I have just done this as my first post covid yoga too. Lovely to see old yoga routines by Adrienne, she hasn’t changed one bit in her authenticity and motivation, it was always there. I figured covid can be included as “ ick”. Thank you it was just perfect. On the mend now ❤️❤️!

Thank you so much for this. I haven't had a cold in three years and was very down that this one had wiped me out. This video has taught me to be ok with it and take care of myself and not to be sorry for myself. I would love a few more sick yoga teachings to have a selection. Much love x

Doing this in December 2024, sick as a dog. I did it last time I was sick too, in 2023. Historically, Yoga with Adriene has gotten me through some pretty tough times. But when I am down and under the weather, it feels like a warm, safe hug. Such a comfort when I need it most.
I laughed (hey-o), I cried, I smiled. I felt better. Thank you, Adriene. You have no idea what you have done for a stranger like me.
Now that I'm a Yoga Camper ;) I find I simply love having an "I" statement to accompany each practice. For this video: "I am healing. I am well!" This practice hit the spot today - I've had a really bad cold for 2 days. Might follow it up with a bedtime routine as well. oh yeah yoga is medecine, so much than doctors tend not to believe I have fibromyalgia when testing my move range and wavy way of moving. I have quit antidepressant since I practice 1 hour per day and today I just felt like an old dog on a cold rainy day. After yoga I feel more like an old dog bathing in sunshine. :) Thank you for all you give to us, magical yoga is in the air!
I liked having a video that focused on when you have a cold. Also please consider doing a few more videos on yoga poses to help with sinus congestion.
Im in a period with a lot of endings and changes and ive had a pretty hard time releasing, so i definitely think it caused me to be sick. In thw middle of this video i just broke up crying because you were so comforting. Thank you for that.
Dear sweet Adriene 60 year old registered nurse here doing this video after being diagnosed with Covid. This is three years after the pandemic started and with all the precautions and masking coming back from a trip my husband and I succumbed to the virus. I am a firm believer of positive thinking, and I love your statement of

I finally got to the end of weeks of stress and tension, to the day before my Christmas break - and tested positive for Covid. I now have to isolate through Christmas, and this little video helped me stretch my sad, achy body and process my emotions (which I find really hard). Thank you Adriene x

I know you made this video over 10 years ago, but it is still sooooo helpful today. I got a really nasty cold RIGHT before my finals, and have been bedridden for nearly 2 days. I have been so frustrated and upset, that I burst into tears in the middle of this practice. I didn't realize that I was holding so much emotional tension alongside my physical illness. Thank you for this practice and all the work you still do for people all over the world! Now that I've re centered, I can find a small bit of energy to keep studying (since I have no other choice). I have strep throat right now, and though I'm thankfully on antibiotics now, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. My throat felt like it was being torn to shreds every time I swallowed, and I had so much phlegm (I almost choked multiple times) that I had to swallow every minute or so. I did not drink except to swallow ibuprofen - and by the way, even a double dose of that didn't really help. The doctor took one look down my throat and went 'Good God!' For everyone watching: feel better
This is still my go-to when I'm sick and need a little something. It's so nurturing and makes me feel less negative about the whole situation.
Right now, I'm in home quarantine for few days. This practice is all I need.

I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and got sick, so got a bit sad about not being able to practice some birth prep exercises that I switched to from doing yoga with Adriene every morning and that's when I though about Adriene and her awesome videos again. It's incredible how I always find exactly what I need in Adriene's wide 'portfolio' and this pregnancy-friendly video just proves it once again 🙏 Thank you Adriene for all you do, all the love and the wisdom you share and for simply being who you are! ❤

I've been trying to do a round of your 30 days yoga. I can't seem to make it a straight 30 days without getting sick or having terrible period pain but you always have a video for everything so I can keep doing yoga even when I feel crappy. Thank you! ❤

I just returned from 2 weeks in Africa, 8 days on a horseback safari, 34 hours of travel to get home with just 2 hours of sleep folded in, and my body was asking me to BOTH slow down and rest AND to open up and be fluid. This, Adriene, was just what the doctor ordered. (The doctor being my body.) Thank you for sharing your awesomeness!!

This one was nice. I’m not sick…yet, but I noticed during yesterday’s practice my body felt weaker and that’s usually a sign I’ve got something coming on. Thanks to yoga, I’m more in tune with the ol bod!
After 9 days of sleeping and resting because of Covid-19, I really felt the urge to do some yoga with Adriene! Thank you so much, I will return several times a day. My imune system works perfectly! 🙏🏼

Love this practice. Spent the last week terribly sick, and stuck in the fetal position. Simply sitting straight up was painful, and then I remembered you have a plethora of yoga for healing.

This helps so much. I’ve had COVID for the past two weeks and it feels so good to finally be able to move gently again.
I couldn’t believe how shaky I was during the forward fold and downward dog; those usually are my restorative poses and today they were stretching me to-and a little beyond-my appropriate limits.
So grateful for the reminder to find grace where I am.
I have just done this as my first post covid yoga too. Lovely to see old yoga routines by Adrienne, she hasn’t changed one bit in her authenticity and motivation, it was always there. I figured covid can be included as “ ick”. Thank you it was just perfect. On the mend now ❤️❤️!
