I’ve seen this story too many times before. Everybody is going to the league when they are 10 years old and then boom, end up being 5 ft 9 and backup on varsity
@@casparharker That’s real nice and u put in that hard work. Which colleges tho? I’m personally tryna go d1 in soccer/football
This kid will be burnt out in next five years
@@floydhicks1236 You may have a very good point. All the adulation and attention this early may spoil him before he ever gets really amazing. Brady had to go through a lot of obstacles and ridicule at an early age before his potential was ever noticed, but it developed in him the desire and strong drive to excel in every challenge before him. Even today, that "chip on his shoulder" drives him to want to win every time. Brady is truly lionhearted. He has the heart of a champion. Cruz should be able to develop this since he is still young and has the natural ability to play football. It's getting him to develop the never say die attitude for him to reach and even exceed what Brady has achieved in his career.
literally
@@casparharker ok bro calm down let the time come to get the offer don’t say u will
mahomes was never forced to train this hard. his father even said he just let him have fun with both baseball & football. & that’s what makes him so good. if they keep pushing this kid at such a young age, he’s going to get bored of the sport. guaranteed
Fax
I didn’t see anything in it that said he is being forced. I tend to agree with you if that’s the case, but he also could want to do it, especially in Odessa Texas. I lived somewhat around there by Dallas and they eat, breathe and sleep Football. There’s nothing else to do!
That's not a guarantee. Every human is different. You have no clue if he'll get bored.
To much pressure in a low age
He will make over $ 1 Billion dollars
Some of yall got high expectations for this kid. He's 10 years old. Hopefully he continues enjoying the game. He may one day get burned out and decide to take another path when he's an adult. Just appreciate this 10 year old having some good work ethic.
people have high expectations because people are hyping him up a lot so people expect a lot of things
That is the real take! Keep the work ethic and let things take care of themselves.
Well I won’t listen to you. You can see the talent and how kids stand int from his age on up. So i disagree. I wouldn’t hype him up but he obviously is good for his age now if he doesn’t grow he won’t make it.
10 month old *walks*

“I met Patrick mahomes yesterday”
That sounded so normal
That’s what I was thinking
At the very least can we let these kids get in middle school first before we write them in as a top 3 pick in the draft?
this isnt 1960 when your stars started at 28 years old. They start varsity at 14 and sign multi million dollar contracts at 18. In 7 years this kid will have more money than us normal people. Let it be
Honestly theses kids getting label before they in middle school
@@airt698 I'd gladly take that bet. I'll even do ya one better, he won't even be a D1 QB.

He's on utube...it's over
You're right to many parents try to live in their kids , for instance his nickname came from his dad. I've seen so many kids with talent give up because they realize it wasn't their true passion it was their parents.
Great to see another QB like this man. I played flag as qb and rocked it just like this kid but i never have had this kids work ethic. Shout out to this man. I want this dude as my qb.
Impressive youngster. Remarkable discipline and guidance, truly noteworthy. Nicely done documentary. Will look forward to viewing viewing updates soon.

Yeah when you come from a family with money lol. My school used shitty old equipment and gear up until the day I graduated in 2012. Considering they’ve fallen in the top school rankings in my city I’d say they’re still using the same old shitty gear lol.

Looking forward to watching you grow and mature as a quarterback man! Very impressive how much dedication and enjoyment you're getting from football. Just saying, Indianapolis has a great fan base man!
0:38 He was literally TROLLING those kids right there. What a legend 🙌
This kid is gonna be good for another 3 years then he’s gonna flame out. Always happens especially when your going to recover in 4th grade.
We had a kid baseball player in our school. He could throw that ball 80mph as a kid and all the focus was on his sport. It never happened. He hurt his shoulder and by time he graduated the college offers were gone.
@@mjc3502 my dad went to high school with a kid like that had baseball scholarships was one of the best pitcher's in the state then turned to drugs skipped his all star game appearance and went to a movie by himself then one night at a party got so messed up he jumped out a window but survived but today he walks around town all messed up his mind is fried and talks like he has severe brain damage sad
YOU HAVE TO WATCH HOW MUCH FOCUS AND IDOLIZATION OF SPORTS ESPECIALLY EARLY ON. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND COULD REALLY MESS HIM UP MENTALLY
or he stops growing at 5'6 and weighs 150lbs lol

Willing to bet this kid will have like 10 personal trainers
he might not but he is taking advantage of he resources and is trying to get better
@Tea Clarke dang i didnt hear that
As long as he doesnt have 25 massage therapists
@@gsxraiders yea lol
He has probably a lot of personal trainers and already he has a whole gym and recovery system and all that other fancy stuff that many players in the NFL did not grow up like that they did not have so many resources.
This kid is really good. I hope they don’t overdue the high level training and he does not burn out.
🙌🏽
Good luck young man never lose your passion! I look at this young man and see that his parents have the financial means to do what so many parents wish they could do for their kids sports abilities but unfortunately can’t afford it. The problem with youth sports these days is that in order to compete year in and out you really have to spend a ton of money like his parents are probably doing to be recognized for those college scholarships and opportunities to showcase your talent. Which many of us donot have that disposable income.
Dude getting trainers, coaches, massages etc... and those uniforms are insane. How much $ do these people have? Geez
Every dad has a hobby I guess

They mentioned adding weights to his training next year. Weight training should NOT start before 13 years of age. Weight training too early can stunt growth in height, I've seen it firsthand. Guys that started lifting weights at 9 and 10, and ended up like 5' 7" and shorter.
Not true buddy, are you a Kinesiologist? How do you know that weight training was the cause of their height? Please do not spread misinformation like this.
It stunt growth plate
Also, repetitive stress injuries. He could burn out his tendons and joints too early.
Yeah, kids gonna have a lot of pain in his 40's of he trains with weights too much.
@@sageagbonkhese4091 Well, he is a QB, most of their training is not in the weight room to begin with. Also, Most people I know in their 40's have lost of pain throughout their body regardless if they lifted when they were younger.
It only stunts growth plate if done wrong if he has good guidance they will know how to do it right
Just so he doesn't get cocky and stays humble. As I told my son's when they played sports; "Keep your mouth shut and let your playing do the talking". That's what I lived by when I was a QB back in the day.
Cocky and humble? In the one clip where he's running for a touchdown, he's already celebrating at the 15-20 yard line holding up two fingers. I wonder if he got a penalty for that?
Yes sir absolutely 🦾
He’s calling himself showtime. This won’t end well.
I can't help but correlate this story with so many before him. I hope this young man has a great career, but so many of these kids burn out before the end of high school. I went to school with a kid who was considered a phenom and he quit due to being pushed too much. Keep it fun for the kids, never make it about winning.
These Mixed Kids gonna take over the NFL in the Future. The Lil Mahome's Era... lol 😂💯🔥
🤣🤣🤣
And he even looks like a young Mahomes of course

When I first saw this little, I thought it was Patrick Mahomes! He is awesome! We'll probably be hearing about him when he grows up!! I'm proud that he's from Texas!!!!!👍❤️
This is cool, but I think exposing children like this puts pressure on them. Let children be children have fun.
Very true when I was ten I went outside and played capture the flag with my friends after school and played video games
He is having fun he said it
If he get pressured and reach his goals his parents are to blame. I’ve seen too many kids who are left in the dirt and depressed due to hype
Part that worried me the most is when he said his personality is tied to football. Could be tragic if it does not worm out
True
As a father of 3 boys I’m sure his dad is really proud of the young man he is becoming ! Enjoy these yrs w him don’t put so much pressure on the youngster , keep him healthy and let’s hope all his dreams come true god bless ur fam the young guy has a brute future

My nephew was like this for soccer. Top player on the top travel team in his state. Played until his jr year of high school. Burned out and quit. Had several scholarships turned down
man parents be living out there dreams boyyyyyy🤣😂🤣
He is going to get tired of football so fast if he is working that much. They should just let him be a kid while he is a kid.
ong mans got workouts and recovery sections like dawg chill out give him like 2 more years then start working
ive seen this rodeo so many times. one sport athletes that grind down the same tendons year after year. why do you think Tommy John Surgery has sky rocketed over the last 20 years for teenagers? knee surgeries are out of control. let these kids jus have fun playing sports. not just a position year round
not true....i wish i had all this as a kid...football was my 1st love....i would give anything to go back and play today at the age of 27
@@MMACKIN its not a fact, its an opinion and there is a higher % of him not making or wanting to play than anything else.
@@MMACKIN 27? U can still play college football if ur still in college lmfao
Great story! Hopefully this kid can remain focused throughout his teenage years & stay away from trouble! Good to hear that he gets to be a kid too.. that will reduce his chances of burnout.
yup its easy to fall when you the "cool kid" all it takes is one or 2 other cool kids to start smokin bud and partying to much and it can crash everything down. Hopefully his pops helps keep him straight without pushing him so hard he doesnt wana play anymore.
He's father doesn't look particularly tall nor does he have an athletic frame. Hopefully the kid will grow up to be taller and don't develop a meatball physique as an adult.
@7:30 why did it just start saying balls Lmao
Love this, advice from a football coach... He has Tim Tebow's throwing motion! Bottom tip of the ball should never dip below breast plate unless its play action !
My 6 year old has a cannon. When he was 5 & now 6, he was the only kid in his age group that they let play qb. When they give him the ball to run, he can move and juke like no other kid. I know the boys got serious talent. However, I’m letting him be a kid.
Hope he keeps a good mentality... its huge thing that kids his age will need when it comes to fame and sports
At least it's a cheap investment to represent the kid lol
Keep it up kid love the style
HE IS AWESOME! Keep up the good work.
I really hope they’re pushing his mental game as much as they are the physical. Bc he wont always be the best on the field. He also has to learn about failure. Off to a great start though
Trevor lawrence found that out his rookie season.
Lol u shoukd coach him then
@@willthomas7666 I definitely could.
Boy threw up the Duce sighing on his Td run. 😂 he’s going places.
I was really bothered by that . Kid seems like a good kid but I would never ever allow any player to pull those stunts . I’ve coached over 34 years to you g kids and never allowed that Hollywood stuff . And most of my kids were from the projects .
He needs a bit of humility, and taught some respect. It will go along way! If he’s doing that stuff now he’s in for rude awakenings when things don’t go his way which is more than likely the outcome!

I wish this kid the best, but you don’t really know where football players stand until high school.
Justin Jefferson was a 2 star recruit leaving highschool, hes now considered by most to the best WR in the NFL. Lamar Jackson was a 3 star recruit and turned in a MVP season. Sometimes you dont even know until a guys 2nd or 3rd year of college.
@@jamesbutler620 like he said you don’t know who they are till they hit high school and JJ was a 3 star
@@lilshawtync4673 well the documentary i just watched on jefferson said otherwise but either way i was obviously disagreeing are you telling me that guys that were 2-3 star recruits in highschool and you have any idea at all they would be arguably the best WR in the nfl and a MVP qb...? it takes years in college before you even get a idea what they will be.
@@jamesbutler620 Jefferson was a 3 star recruit not 2. Also he received a scholarship to LSU which is a big time college football program that has won national titles before.
