  • Ever wonder why Jesus weeps when taken to the tomb of his friend Lazarus, even though he's fully aware that he's about to raise Lazarus from the dead? Darren Wilson takes a quick look at the shortest verse in the Bible, and what it can tell us about God's relationship with us.

Awesome. I love that about our God! He chooses to be present with us, while knowing what our future holds

God’s not into ‘long distant’ relationships...He desires we come close♥️

In my mind I know that God is present but it would sure be nice to see feel hear or experience something every once in awhile

Jacob Michael hey man just stumbled upon your comment and I “feel” you...no pun intended. As human beings we often times need sensual affirmation whether that be a word, touch, or something that appeals to our senses. However as Believers in Christ Jesus we walk by the Spirit and in faith, not in emotion or feelings. I still struggle with this dude so you’re not alone, but just remember that you have DIED to your flesh and it is Holy Spirit in you that lives and takes dominion and fights for you. You may feel nothing, you may feel something, but you hang on to the promise that the Lord gives us which is He will never leave you nor forsake you. Ever. Don’t try and find affirmation in the feeling of the presence of God, rather find hope knowing that His word is true, and Jesus is coming back. Keep fighting the good fight of faith homie and I’ll be praying for you. Also, the more you seek/pray/fast/worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth, the more He will reveal Himself to you and maybe even allow you to “feel” His manifest presence, but again don’t just pray to always feel that for affirmation. Seek God first always!
