I just purchased a Polygon premier .Just getting back into riding after bmx as a kid .Its an awesome bike with good quality parts .Frame is light, hydraulic brakes double wall rims .I love it .I may upgrade in a year or so to a dual suspension bike though as I like a good jumpy trail
The Polygon Siskiu T8 has been a great bike so far. Had a couple qc issues with it but nothing I couldn't fix or live with. Great value and I plan to ride this for a while.
What kind of qc? I am thinking to get one. Is it a good bike for the money? I was looking at Specialized and those are double to triple the price of a Polygon. Not sure if it is just a brand name or much better…
I just got the Marin Eldridge grade and I love it! Great for all the VT trails! I added a seat cushion and it is the most comfortable I’ve ever been on a bike!
Hey great overview of the different classes of mountain bikes I’m looking to upgrade from an old 26 inch Giant Yukon , I am 5 10 and ride mainly fire trails , single tracks and occasionally some more technical tracks I was really leaning toward the San Quentin 2 large frame as a bit of an all rounder, so do you think this is a good option or can you suggest something better …I’m not into full suspension Thanks 🙏 in advance
I would lean more towards the Marin Team for your riding. It will be better for the majority of your riding. The San Quentin will really only come into it's own on the more technical trails
Polygon is a factory brand so make a lot of different bikes for other bike brands. During the start of COVID they had a fair few extra frames available of some of these bikes, so to fill the void in the market and fill demand they released them as the limited edition Vander. Because they were a limited one off run and have now sold out they have been taken off the site, so people don't get confused thinking they are still available. If you want to check out the geo of the bike, it is available here. We still have all the spare parts for the frames too :) geometrygeeks.bike/bike-directory/brand/?b=Polygon+Bikes
hi! BOBCAT TRAIL 5 vs Polygon XTRADA 6? in my country the trail 5 sell for 922$ and the Xtrada 6 for 972$, i cant decise for one of the two, my plan is to climb hills and stuff, also a lot of city and some dirt terrain a lot of times.
Marin San Quentin for XC is a good choice or nah? My local trails here are full of climbs, always I was using a 29er. Im afraid that 27.5" will be too short, my height is 5'8". When i go down of the mountain the trails are hard and rocky. All the XC races in my country are with this type of trails hehe but we climb a lot. I need an advice 😫... Sorry for my bad english
We would recommend the Marin Team for your riding. Especially when it comes to XC races, most of your time will be made on the climbs so have the efficiency of the Team over the San Quentin would be good. The team is a pretty good descender too!
@@bikesonline sorry i forgot to say, san quentin 2 its in offer $ 1000 dollars in my country and team marin 1 $ 1500 dollars... Take the offer or go with other bike for xc? Hehehe
Those prototype polygons won't be out before 2023 will they because I've been really enjoying mountain biking and I've been riding on a giant atx so since I've been enjoying it so much i wanna get a dual sus
After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.
If you are sticking to mostly fire trails and smoother trails then the Wildcat trail will be a better option as it's more efficient on the climbs. If you are more focused on trails and looking to ride some more technical features, the san quentin will be better :)
Am used to took my bobcat trail to steep decent together with my friends that rode alpine, SQ, Polygon T. No problem at all.. Just need to upgrade the forks to make it more pleasurable

I own a San Quentin love it- right out of the box I’m bombing stairs. I’ve posted a few first run videos- I use it for urban downhill
This is a solid laymen's guide to bikes. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I tried the online bike selector! Really good 👍 answer for my next bike: Marin alpine trail E2!
Thanks Phil! A lot of great looking bikes in the line up, but that El Roy is something!
Thanks Eugene! Such a good looking bike. There's something special about a steel hardtail!

Bike finder reccomended be a dirt jumper or hardcore hardtail
Send it!!
Well explained 🙏👏
Thank you!
Curious why the Vander was such a limited run and it would be helpful if the specs/geo was still posted on the website. Great riding bike too

Is marin wildcat trial 1 value for money?
Absolutely :)
Polygon siskiu d7 is xc or trail bike ?
It falls somewhere between the two. Many would call it "Down-Country."
I have a trek marlin, 7 gen 2
Sweet!
Same, I love it.
Great vid👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Will the polygon n8 be coming back?
The N8 pictured here in the video won't be but the new prototype will replace it soon!

Both great bikes! Xtrada is an excellent climber.
@@bikesonline in the end I buy the trail 5 in a awesome discount for 760 dollars! Thanks for the reply!
Would someone race on a Marin rift zone 29er 2?
We have seen a few people race XC and some more mellow enduro races :)

'Where would you place to Marin pine mountain on this list?
Pine Mountain is a trail bike with bikepacking in mind!

Are marin eldridge good
I need to know too
Marin makes great products!

9/16 on most of our models.
I want to get a polygon T8 with a large frame size does anybody know where I could get one in America?
BikesOnline.com!
Durable bicycle
i have a bobcat trail 4👍
I want to buy polygon siskiu t8 my dream
can polygon heist do xc?
It's more of a path bike or urban commuter!
Whats your opinion between the marin Wildcat trail 5 vs san quentin 2?

Whats your opinion if choosing between a polygon xtrada 7 and a san quentin 1 or 2?
How much is Marin paying all these people ?
What are you referencing?
Downhill just kinda disappeared then lol
haha! We just didn't cover it for this video.
It's crazy how triggered people get over the category "downcountry". Short-travel trail bikes just doesn't sound right to me

hahaha 100%
@@SafwanRahmanofficial Yep 100% with the forks. That was the best upgrade I made to mine. Really allowed me to attack technical features

I have a trek x caliber 8, is it worth purchasing a sisku t7 for trails?
The Siskiu T7 is certainly more capable in a trail setting than the X-cal!
