Standing shoulder to shoulder in a narrow hallway, becoming a human wall.

Narrow hallways themselves are a sin, so many Sims die every day
No it’s when a group is walking shoulder to shoulder down a WIDE hallway is when it is a great sin.

Seeing people cheat at a board game should not have angered me as much as it did.

Why even play if you're just going to ignore the rules? Why not just say you win and save yourself the bother? You need the rules to create challenge, excitement, peril - to create fun! I never cheat at co-op games, since I look at them as a challenge in working together with friends. Cheating here is dumb, since it defeats the nature of a challenge. Cheating in versus boardgames however? Count me in. If you don’t see me cheating, you are not paying attention to the game, which gets really annoying when people have to remind you of turn order and such. That’s why I love Munchkin as a game, it has Cheating as part of the rules.
Some people just never learned to fail and will only have fun when they are winning.
That's why its important to stomp your kids at game when they are young. Teach them what it is to overcome challenge, instead of teaching them that the rule of the world will bend at their will to always put them on top. Make winning way more memorable when it is earned.
Never play Munchkin. The rules literally allow you to cheat as long as you don't get caught. My friends and I will constantly be trying to discretely cheat, while being on the lookout for cheaters.
Well... Civilization VI just revealed Suleiman of the Ottoman Empire as one of the new leaders on the new dlc. One of the top comments was a proposal to ban crabs. I'm so happy to be part of this community :D

Free Parking is a corner square on the board diagonally opposite to Go. When a player lands here nothing happens and they move off the space on their next turn.
The only exception is in the Monopoly City version, where landing on the space grants the player the 'Rent Dodge' card, regardless of if another player has it or not.
Damn right you won't collect money on free parking.

@@NoNameAtAll2 Hippopotamus is a big animal. There was a children's game popular in the 90's and maybe earlier or still called Hungry Hungry Hippos. It was a silly dexterity game where a bunch of balls were in the middle and you had to press buttons to make your hippo reach its neck out and eat one. In this case, the joke is that they're using the Hippos to chew the cards.

Drawing one extra card is fine, if morally questionable.
Drawing TWO extra cards however is crossing a line no mortal should ever cross.
All of them happened to be epidemic cards too.

I will remember Allison, upon our first meeting, stepping over a rope fence in the mall to get to where she needed to go, and this spawning a conversation about lawful vs chaotic alignments. This was a slightly more dramatic retelling of that first meeting. Very nice. ALSO CONGRATS ON THE WEDDING!!

The Patreon pitches are essentially a bonus sketch for each video.
I usually dread the "please donate money to pay for my life and buy my merch!" spiels in youtube videos. But these guys keep it classy, they know it's cringy and play on that very well.
I expected two things before the punchline
1: Monopoly man
2: Wil Wheaton

Bending the rules removes all the challenge. Even in a board game, you can't always get what you want, and need to be able to adapt.

Not really. For example, in BL2 a CE table lets you alter the rarity weights. There's still a challenge there because all the weapons that'll drop will be around your character level, maybe a few levels higher (you can't equip stuff with a level requirement higher than your current level), and all you're doing is making good shit drop more often. You're cutting down on mindless grinding, which in my eyes adds to the fun of the game since you're always finding really neat guns.
I don't kbow how you feel about it, but I prefer to play by Mad Queen rules.

I know, I have all these fun games I set up at some public game nights, people come over intrigued that Doom has a board game and then they see that It needs 2 boxes, 3 rule books and a small forest worth of cards and tokens then go play apples to apples or something.
Please, count me in too! My group hasn't been able to schedule a game in months.

Oh gosh, it's so obvious when I rewatch it that I kind of can't believe I didn't notice at first how Kyle clearly talks to the wire throughout the sketch. I mean, first, at 0:25 he covers it like to keep the Monopoly Man from hearing, then at 1:10 he literally says "let the record show that I tried" _to the wire_ , then 1:46 "I think we all got what we needed and I would like to leave now" he's asking them to pull him out... Haha, I feel slow on the uptake now! Sneaky spy Kyle :)

Everyone admiring the masterful lines, meanwhile I'm over here noticing how it's impossible to draw more than 2 epidemics in a row with the proper deck shuffling as the game forces you to spread out epidemics. They weren't even playing the game right in the first place.

If you're going to bring in a hippo reference you need to put up a parental warning at the start of the video, I almost had an anime flashback to my tragic backstory.

It was hard to see exactly what was being drawn, but at least one of the other cards they drew was an epidemic. I think they were playing the game wrong. If I remember correctly the setup is supposed to space the epidemics out more.
@@insignificantgnat9334 it's totally possible. You split the deck evenly into as many piles as epidemics and add once to each, then shuffle each pile, then stack the piles. If a pile had an epidemic at the top, and another at the bottom then you can draw into two in a row. It can be and often is a game ender as it cascades.
After they draw the second epidemic it becomes impossible but that was part of the joke (they draw like 8 in a row).
@@DEATHCLAWSLAYER Cheaters inevitably anger time and space to the point where it spawns more epidemics. It is actually a quite well documented fact and currently the way scientists are looking to create infinite energy.
I've had it happen before, it sucks particularly if the two cities you draw are neighbors. Time to die.
