One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever created sung by an angel.
I live in Toronto, so I am lucky to hear him singing live from time to time. I absolutely love his voice!
one could cry of joy by listening this beautiful music and voice
I love seeing Joyce DiDonato in the background. She's totally into the piece and just feeling it.
Beutifull. One of the best my favorite B minor Mass concert. Also BBC Promotion concert is excellent one.
This might be the best thing I have heard so far in my life.
Sublime, perfect, spectacularly beautiful....
Such beauty. God bless Daniel Taylor for all he brings to us.
Magnifique...
i can't stop crying
Unbelievably beautiful. Many thanks.
magnificent!!! daniel taylor interpretation exquisite !!!
I'm sure Bach had Mr Taylor in mind when he revise this piece from "Ach, Bleibe Doch, mein liebstes Leben".
This is a performance to go back to and watch it again and again. It never fails, it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
Thank you
This is just superb. Those vocals are so Heavenly :)
Wonderful upload! One thousand thanks.
I love the way Ms. DiDonato is mesmerized by Taylor's performance.
Wonderful singing of a truly lovely piece.
Increible la voz de este señor
greatest elegy ever written, to be written
Maravilloso. Bach al estado puro.
Thank you for the upload. I am awestricken!
Todo ese concierto es espectacular, hace apenas 5 años conocí este álbum, me ha encantado desde el primer día.
Great and amazing! Thanks for posting. Daniel Taylor sounds even more impressive live with his soaring voice which modern technology can't absolutely catch yet in recordings.
Here after listening to Lingua Ignota's Agnus Dei. What a beautiful song!
sublime!
I had the pleasure to play the continuo in a production of Bach's Magnificat in which he was singing
So incredibly beautiful. In love
Fantastic!
Great Daniel Taylor! Bravissimo!
You are most welcome ! I am so happy to see someone listening this song, which is one of my favourites from one of my favourite composers. This recording is indeed the same of the old video. I had downloaded it and when I found the old one missing, I felt compelled to upload it myself. It also happens to be my first and only upload. I also happen to have the entire recording of the B minor mass, would you like me to upload it entirely ?
I thank you for listening. I am truly delighted.
yes please and thank you
Beautiful. I have however heard an angelic version by a chorister with the Rochester Cathedral. That's what brought me here.
simply amazing !!!! thakns for sharing !
Maravilha bach como sempre espetacular em si bemor
Si beau.
Bravoooo!!!!! Una meraviglia
Sublime! Merci!
amazing
love love this
I go to his students' choir at UofT performances and hear him speaking often. He has pretty normal speaking voice, not too high or too low. The countertenors are usually baritones for their chest voice and speaking voice. He will sing this particular part next Sat. in Toronto and Sunday in Ottawa. I really adore him.
Браво!
Très belle interprétation
Perfection
Sublime....
I love Deborah Nemtanu
Божественно...
My god this is beautiful
The first violin: would you marry me?
Being serious, beautiful music, beautiful art, beautiful musician, graet director, nice countertenor voice. Of course, the lyryc is the best of all of this. However such pure beauty only can comes from the "Agnus". Glory to Him.
We are still waiting for the full upload of this whole work...:-) one year later and it is still not up, hope you get around to it. Cheers!

It is no trouble to share great art. But please be patient for a week, though I will try to upload it as soon as possible. I am really thrilled talk with someone who appreciates a piece of music which I adore myself. It is a rare occasion.
I am no authority on performances either, but I too found this recording excellent,. And I didn't know the name of the soprano ! So glad to know that he is Mr. Tyler.
minunat!
Oops, just read the comments and found the answer to my question, sorry! Yes, I think this is probably my most favorite version by a counter tenor.
💯💐
Reinste Durchführung. Endlich mal.
I'd like to know if I could listen to more songs like this one( unique vocal + orchestra). I am kind of new to classical music, but I must say, this type of music is just absolutely mesmerizing. If someone could help me I would be extremely gratefull!:D
SUBLIME!!!
So which one of the male soloists is the counter-tenor? Is it Daniel Taylor? Great performance, thank you for sharing!
Was für eine zärtliche stimme
BTW what kind if person gave this a thumbs-down? I mean, really?
Probably because it’s a man singing higher pitch? People are just ignorant and don’t understand music.
I thought the singer was a woman! A very beautiful voice indeed.
Our aural skills teacher gave us this (the opening volin line) for the Sight singing final exam. I totally love this piece.
By the way... 0:06 Britney Spears, is that you?
Does anyone know what he is singing
Vox mirabilis!
Adam Rogers is a really good singer, apparently
Hello!
Do you know if this exact recording was ever released on CD or DVD? I would LOVE to get this same exact version in my library... this is a particularly exceptional version.
Thank you!!!
A very pure voice, but I'm not sure his breathing is very good here. Seems to drop some phrases.
