@@baldfelix1841 w community member I appreciate you. I can't validate his rank but you'll be in good hands @thatoneweirdguy. Take care of him bald and thanks again!
YES, I've always wanted to learn him so considering doing 20 Hour series vid for him next week. I'll be streaming it if you wanna come see 40+ bad habits of rau on Ramattra LOL
Biggest thing I see newer Ramattra players do is not canceling their nemesis form. They will just sit behind cover and wait for the form to end before they start poking again. They'll also just keep rushing the enemy even if they're out of range instead of just getting to a safe spot to cancel and start poking.
HEADS UP WITH VORTEX! if a venture is burrowed, save it for when they start charging a jump you can stick them to the ground immediately, completely denying their escape
@@Gooberman-pluh YEAH i got hit with it on venture for *an entire game* the only reason i didn't switch was because i was getting enough value on the everything else it's genuinely so smart and so frustrating if done well
Ram has a lot of little things you can do. Reverting Nemesis when the armor is gone so the cooldown begins sooner. and you can regain the armor sooner Cancel Nemesis Quick Melee with Revert. Let's you both the burst damage with quickmelee and immediately follow up with staff if the quick melee didn't kill confirm. Pummel > Vortex > revert > Staff critz combo. Normally Revert is 0.5s but you can cast Vortex and revert at the same time. + it makes sense to combo it since Vortex+Staff critz is much more dps than Pummel+vortex. Also it automatically aligns your Cooldown cycle to maximize uptime.
Glad to see I do literally all of these. Another tip is to sometimes cancel nemesis for early to use your barrier or to use your primary fire to get a low health target that’s far away. Also, you can use his ult to save yourself if you’re low on health with the extra health that nemesis form gives. It’s only in very specific circumstances that you’ll wanna us that ult tip though
Another thing is its ability to keep characters on the ground. Its good for dealing with annoying lucios and letting them fall off the map from a jump they could've otherwise made
Recently I played a game as a support along with Ram, he was furious with me cuz I play Juno he wants me to switch but I told him stay next to me and I’ll heal u plus our ultimates combined will give us the advantage or that’s what I thought. We lost and blames for the lost. 😂
Yeah yuno is good with ram just depends on how you and him were playing skill wise. You should actually be significantly behind him not beside him as all of your abilities have a ton of range! Also wouldn't recommend using both ults together as ram will outrun your ult PLUS they are super strong separate. Instead just give him your ring and look to torpedo his targets! If you have both and need to win a fight id say start fight w/ your ult and then he holds his ult till he needs to pop it for extra shields and then you give ring! Obviously all very situational and based off enemy comp and ults but that's my constructive criticism
Advice: Don't combine ults, 1 Ult should be enough to get a very nice edge over the team fight. If they also use an Ult, your team pops another one (depends)
as someone who has recently played juno for 20+ hours shes honestly decent at dealing out dmg and heals if used correctly. even if you had ulted together, that doesn't mean the game is lost. i usually ult when the enemy ults or when i feel my team needs extra healing and dmg to finish them off. your rammatra seemed like it was a losing battle regardless just because you didn't switch and to me he probably lost the game from his mindset.
The animation canceling increases your dps by 50 % and also weaves in blocks, takes a couple of hours of practice though. Better shield usage plus that tech got me from plat to low masters
In my opinion you should not use barrier with nem, because it wastes up-time and allows enemied to push you and take lots of space when both cooldowns run out.
As I had mentioned it only has about 2-3 downtime if you pop them side by side but I get what you're saying. 100% its just 1 more situational tool to have ready and like any tip should be used in every single teamfight
And also, don't transform before you engage a fight. You lose the long range attack, you might change back before the fight ends and you waste the "free heal" if you didn't took damage yet.
I prefer to rotate my shield and nemesis form, if you have LOS with ur healers and know how to peak without overextended, you are basically unkillable cuz whenever you are nearby someone you can deal pretty good damage with his staff, when someone approaches u just use shield and if they "break" ur armor health just wait for the shield to disappear then swap to nemesis form and go aggro, and when it runs out u have again ur shield. I literally climbed 4 whole ranks abusing that way of playing
Vortex also nabs tose annoying ass flying characters so if theres a mercy that activates their ult and you wanna shut it down as long as they're not too far off the ground youll get them
I've found that while the vortex does offer great util by slowing down enemies, it also is sometimes really effective at zoning a team. a well placed vortex can split 1 or 2 enemies off from their team, letting you or a teammate follow up for a quick kill or to disrupt the enemy teams flow.
@@RauKnowsOW I’m mainly interested in trying out Bucky other than that I simply want to play the game at its full release with no sofrtware problems, everything feels so smooth

im hardstuck silver and I main ram because of his how wide of a range i can cover as a tank and the carry potential he has. I normally have significantly more damage and damage absorbed than the other tank. The biggest problem I have is that when I play tank, I usually never have good supports. Damage, I never have a tank. Support, I never have dps. I've climbed out of silver into gold when I match made with a group that understood how to play with an aggressive tank along with having dps that played around me and not in front or behind me. but now Im on this steady decline back to silver 5 because of the idiots that I match with. Better yet they still blame me for the loss when I have more damage than both dps putt together

I find it weird that ram's shield has both a health bar and a timer. I would understand if it was just the timer, it's 4 seconds with a 13 second cooldown. Why would it need a health bar?
@incandescent171 I still wouldn't say it's still work the health bar, cause again, you have to wait 13 seconds to use it again. My point is, that it should have one or the other. Nerf the health to that below sigma's shield but it doesn't have a timer or give it that 4 second timer with no health.
